Really? I would say they state opinions as if they were fact and also in a very direct and needlessly confrontational manner. There is a fine line between being assertive, telling it as it is and being downright rude and boorish. They both go over that line numerously.
The way Helen nominated Christian was totally unnecessary. Could just say we don't here or see enough of you rather than because you are a dullard etc.
Don't get me wrong Christian is about as interesting as a bloke that has just cum. However there are tactful ways of saying it.

You're only seeing what you want to see. From my viewing when Helen had a confrontation it was normally because someone went at her or out right lied to make themselves look better. Then she was one on one with that person.
What I saw was someone having a go at Helen then others seeing an excuse to have a go, she was actually a victem of being bullied when the bullys were moaning she was a bully. Biggest snake in all that for stiring was Danny. In the end it ended up with several goign at one, the same mo happened with simon and it was the same culprits, minus brian.
He with the others thought they we're cocks of the midden since they were in first and only those allowed in their club was those that creeped for it.
ps, he is a dullard, it's just normal talk, it is in the north any way, it just means you are dull only the hypersensitive (and lets face it, he doens't like critism does he) would take offense at that.

I don't think it's a case of just seeing what I want to see. She said more than once to her adversary you are playing into my hands. Also telling Brian he looks like a rapist and a murderer was a blatant act of goading hm.
She is very much in the 'I say what I bloody well like and I like what I bloody well say' school.
I do agree with you though that a lot of the people arguing with her are just doing it for effect and attention. She does fight her corner well. Danny is a snake and definitely playing a game.

You need to think about that. She was basically telling her to stop becasue it looks bad for her. Helen didn't really have to do anything becasue Niki really couldn't control herself.

I'd imagine she'd completely blank him in a club, but this is very different circumstance during general discussions in which they were specifically asked opnions.

The thing is if it did kick off Marc would kill him. Why do they try to take him on? He has been in the army knows every wind up ploy in the book thus knows what to say and knows how not to let himself get rattled.
Aishlene is a fake none entity as well. Hard as nails behind Helens back but when confronted just plays the I just want peace and harmony in the house card. Marc exposed her true character perfectly.
It saddens me that one of those muppet housemates have to win 150k.it really is about who is less nauseating at the end of the day rather than who is the most likeable.

I have to say my opnion of Emma Willis has completely plummeted watching her interview with Helen, nothing but a biased defense of her pals.
Brian was constantly goading Helen and having a go at her and lying (his lies is were it all started), that's why she responded like she did. To defend Brians extreme hate and aggresive stance to Helen (or any woman) by trying to pass it off has goading would be like excusing a rapist by pointing out her mini skirt.
As for Ashlene being a nice girl - whaaaaat - did we even see the same programs? She started it by throwing a box at Helen when she went in and what she was like when she left was just repugnant.
Channel 5 big brother really is shit, they think arguments and couples is entertaining, it isn't. Best episode of BB? On channel 4 when all the housemetes were under boxes, not one of them seen for an entire hour, absolutly hilarious it was if any one remebers that.
Danny is a lucky boy. I think if Marc made an issue of it he would have been kicked out. The fact that women like because he is good looking and is a protector of the oppressed in their eyes also helps.

Emma willis is very PC. It seems to be fashionable on big brother to like Brian. I think he is a lech and there is something creepy about him.
Channel 5 version of big brother is becoming contrived. I thought the point of the programme was that you have minimal outside Influence. What is with all these fake tasks and evictions? Even the contestants seem to be personas such as Danielle pretending to be a Puritan and Gina pretending to be a billionaire daughter. By all accounts she was an actress.
I personally believe that for it to work you have to have people with fully formed personalities. Unfortunately only people in their 20s seem to have the time to be on there for the required time. Well adjusted 30+ people can't afford to spend such a long time on there. As a result you get people trying to be hip like Christian through having no real identity.
As a result only people with an addictive personality such as myself have any interest in the show what so ever. I tend dr one year they did celebrity hijack I thought that was good and you had people who at least had a genuine talent on it.
