Ali and his mates calling themselves UB40 now
I think they're still "formerly of UB40" aren't they? Like the way Bucks Fizz can't legally call themselves that (Bucks Fizz, I mean). Or the other two from the Jam call themselves "From the Jam".
they are using UB40 feat All Astro and Mickey
Yeah, that's right, but they're not the proper band.

Like if Godley & Crème had gone round billing themselves as 10cc ft Godley & Crème.

Or Brian May and Roger Taylor still billing themselves as Queen.

Oh wait Wink
Slowly working through them Biggest Weekend shows. Beck was quite good, but no New Pollution. Orbital were alright, I guess.
Caught up with "BB King on the Road" a tribute featuring archive of the man himself, and chat from family and many former band members, as well as fans from Ringo to Bono to Joe Bonamassa. Sad to learn BB had dementia/Alzheimers towards the end, until his final gig came and he literally could not play his beloved guitar no more.
Generation Grime, an entertaining look at the rise and rise of Grime, with most if not all the interesting playaz having their say, good archive stuff of the early years, and dissing about selling out & staying true.
Nearly finished the Biggest Weekend stuff.

I see Channel AKA seems to have been rebranded/chucked as Massive R&B, which seems a shame.
Sky Arts are going big on Isle of Wight stuff this weekend, some of the later-in-the-evening stuff looks like it's being simulcast on Sky 1 as well. Manics, Kasabian, the Killers etc
Kylie at 50 - Especially for You
Entertaining stuff, perhaps the weirdest guest was a psychiatrist who explained the scientific formula for why Ms Minogue has the perfect bottom. No, really, that happened.

There's a double bill of new George Michael progs on Five tonight, possibly marking what would have been his birthday next week.
