http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/binarie...idance.pdf

Haven't checked it for any further restrictions (or relaxations).

The sole difference seems to be that on page 8 they change "Ofcom has published a finding which illustrates its interpretation of Rule 30.3 regarding products that fall within the recognised character of pornography" to "Ofcom has published findings which illustrate ...". That and some section headings are underlined and they have learned how to indent text.

Worrying both the old and new version say "Adult chat broadcasters should ensure that the transition to more adult material at 9pm and from adult chat to daytime chat at 5:30am, is not unduly abrupt.", meaning the adult stuff should wind down well before 5:30am rather than just stop (page 7).

Also the following reads as if it might apply to both free to air and encrypted: "at no time broadcast images of any real or simulated sex acts (these include vaginal or anal intercourse, masturbation, fellatio or cunnilingus);".
After watching Dionne's show the other night, I think this old chestnut is laid to bed. The show included penetration, and it was clearly stated on the same show many times, that now it is internet only, there are no restrictions.

Seeing as the reason they stopped Freeview was due to restrictions and problems with too strong content, I am pretty sure Babestaion would have checked with their lawyers before putting out the show that I was watching.

Just like TVX and Sexstation, BSX.tv is clearly able now to show what they want. I am sure people will quote and requote various regulations, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Finally, this is all dependant on the various models own limits. It does not mean every girl will go to the same levels, but it has been made clear that the girls are no longer being restricted by the powers that be. This was clearly illustrated in the Friday and Saturdays shows.Smile
Just a shame the shows were not made available to those of us who wanted to view without commitment to site membership.
The 2 day pass at £1.50 is a good option, but I guess it is still technically site membership, as you need to cancel it before the 2 days end. Not sure if they will do a seperate per show option in the future. Smile

Although tbh I used to pay £3 per show before, whereas now I can sign up for 2 nights at 75p per show, and then just cancel,so it is very reasonable. I must admit tho that I have let mine go into a full monthly membership, so it means i dont have to micromanage my purchases, and now forget about it for a month. The content atm seems good enough that I know I will be watching more shows, so may aswell stay a member for now.... I would prolly save money if I keep buying 2 day passes, but for the hassle i should only end up a few pounds a month down.

The BSX web show just like TVX and SexStation web shows can show what they want, nobody is saying they can't, but under Ofcom rules they cannot advertise hard core web shows on the free to air "adult chat" tv channels, the SexStation web show is not advertised on free to air phone in babe channels and neither is the TVX web site advertised on "adult chat" advertisement tv channels .

As been mentioned before Cellcast advertised the SexStation hard core web show on tv and got themselves in bother, the webshow got tamed down to virtually tv levels for a while, the Cellcast tv channels had to remove all mention of the SexStation website, and on top of that the tv channels were found "in breach" and if i remember correctly got a big fine as well . (it's on Ofcom's website)

They seem to get away with breaking Ofcom "adult chat" tv advertisement rules because of their Dutch licence, when they got in bother for advertising SexStation on TV the TV channels had a Ofcom licence in those day's .

No other free to air "adult chat" babe channel advertises hard core websites on tv, that must mean something ? .

.
Not really sure why this is still being debated tbh. The shows are up and running, and thats good enough to me. Not sure why people need to keep argueing about interpretation. With all thats happened, I am sure BSX and their solicitors know more than we do, and they say what they are doing is ok, After all its them that has to pay the fines!

This is the Channel most people wanted, it is a shame that it could not work before, but clearly the freeview element was the problem, and the internet only version is the solution. I think some people seem to want this to fail, but I personally want it to suceed, and so far I am impressed with the new format.Heart

Several people on the forums argued that they would not be able to run penetration shows on the net. They were clearly wrong. I dont expect them to rush here and say they got it wrong, but it is kinda silly to keep argueing when the shows are up and running.

Kinda like still trying to argue that the Earth is flat!

Finally, even if these people are right, and BSX should not be broadcasting this strength content if advertised on TV, I cant see what purpose bringing attention to it can serve.... unless these people want to see it fail or be shut down? And I thought it was OFCOM that was meant to be obsessed with regulationsTongue

I have been a big critic of BSX, but in my view, they are now trying to give us the show that we had been asking for, and for that I applaud them.

Whilst im happy with your opinion about bsx working out to be simular to equivilant in money terms to the seperate night payment by text which i preferred, especially when you consider that for example a Friday night show with Elicia may be worth watching but the following night they put tiffany or geri on so the show may not be as good, but you feel obliged to watch as you have paid for it in advance,so i personally would not mind paying 3 pounds for a night with no commitment to the site which is what this channel was originally sold as.
Agreed matey. I really hope they give us the one night/show option, and also a text option too. I think they should do, as more options to pay means more money for them.... Only thing, I did notice it is now done through Epoch, which it was not before... maybe this influences the payment option... lets hope not, I am all for choice!Smile

Several people on the forums argued that they would not be able to run penetration shows on the net. They were clearly wrong. I dont expect them to rush here and say they got it wrong, but it is kinda silly to keep argueing when the shows are up and running.

To answer a few of you're questions .
Firstly you say you're not really sure why this is still being debated, well that's what i thought when you brought it back up again . all the facts and links to Ofcom's rules concerning advertising hard core porn on adult chat tv channels were posted for everyone to see , so there is no debate or argument, the rules have been posted and are clear for everyone to see .

Secondly you say this channel is what most people wanted, did most people want BSX to be removed from tv and become just another hard core porn internet only site ? .

Thirdly you say people are wrong for saying BSX wouldn't be able to show penetration on the live shows as it's advertised on tv, well that's because Ofcom rules say they can't, as we keep posting the tv channels advertising BSX are Dutch regulated not Ofcom regulated, so i assume NICAM allow it .

Thirdly my original post on the matter was to warn posters to be careful of what they post concerning the BSX live web show content when preeti was on as it was being advertised on tv, i was bearing in mind Ofcom rules and what BS said about rival channels reporting them for the tv content, rival channels will know perfectly well the rules concerning the advertisement of hard core porn, so it's not the posting of rules or if they advertise BSX on tv that could bring it to the attention of rivals, it's posts that keep mentioning they are showing penetration that will alert the rival broadcasters , if BS are daft enough to bring attention on themselves then that's there fault, not posters on here .
I'm thinking they aren't going to go for a pay per view option. At the moment there is minimal advertising on their website (that I've found anyway, I haven't joined yet so there may be more for members) of what's on every night. Without Freeview 174 they obviously can't trail the shows on TV any more, and BS have also stopped posting any details on this forum.
This all suggests that BS (in addition to being afraid of Ofcom) are after a captive audience of regular members and they aren't really looking to attract casual users.
