I've seen a few posts on here concerning wishlists saying us girls could buy an iPad everyday if we wanted and that we earn more for a days work then most callers earn in a month.
Oh how very wrong some of those comments are.
I'm not going to tell anyone how much I earn, but I will tell you I pay out over £300 a month just to get to work! Then I have a house to pay for, food, then all the outfits for the shows, make up, hair, beauty salon appointments... There's so much up keep required to maintain our look. We are meant to be dream girls, being a dream girl requires a lot of effort and money to maintain.
So if a fan/caller/twitter follower wants to buy me an outfit for me to wear on the show that he will enjoy seeing me in and it will make him happy knowing I'm wearing something he's bought me, then I see no problem with this. I often send signed photos out to those who have sent me items from my list. I am always grateful.
Financial domination is a fetish. If you call a girl on a tv show and act submissively, then please remember most of these girls are models not dominatrix, so may not have a wide knowledge or much experience in handling these kind of calls and may confuse domination with financial domination. You seem to have completely missed the point, I don't think anyone bought up a straight objection to wish lists even if they don't understand the point of them (I don't) it was about the obvious and malicious manipulation of certain hosts acting no better than rip and run escorts, if someone wants to buy something for a woman on the TV by all means go ahead, having those women try to viciously exploit the uninhabited is something else.
As for the finances involved every business has costs, out lay and staff wages to consider I don't really understand why your bringing that up, fact is women that work on these shows do for a very specific reason, it requires no qualifications and the pay is well above that of NMW.
