Babestation until the new webcams arrive will you plz stop using the 1s you have? they don't work....
LOL, I'm so happy I didnt spend any credits on the pervcam tonight. See ALOT of people raging on forums that Lori had 2 sessions tonight with the pervcam and both sessions only did show a black screen. Amazing how they are able to run a paid webcam show for like 2 hours with a none working webcam. Big Grin Really find it hard to belive that really noone did tell Lori that the camera didnt work. Big Grin Well Well.. Another night at the funnyfarm.
Yes Lori had 2 Pcam shows last night & both times the Pcam was a black screen. It was even a black screen when Preeti did a pcam show annoyedannoyedannoyed.

Did you guys see what Lori did in her 1st Pcam show? She knew the cam wasn't working & did nothing about it, she even pushed the cam out of the way without turning it of... annoyedannoyedannoyed
Guys, you all jump to so many conclusions and make so many incorrect statements that it's just so silly.

We never ever go out to steal credits from you while not putting a feed out. That's not how we function on any level.

These black screen issues are a real problem that I'm trying to address.

Firstly, the problem is almost certainly not the cameras. Yes the cameras aren't great at all, but when it goes black, in my experience it's usually caused by a dodgy internet connection or a browser error. And I have the most experience of anyone at the company in using our cam platform.

The solution is to use a browser that I know works, and to try and use an ethernet connection where possible, instead of WIFI. The internet connection at the new place is not as fast or as stable as our old studio.

The main problem at the moment, as far as I see it, is that in the hustle of the studio they are setting up Pervcam quickly, possibly using incorrect settings, and then not monitoring it to see if the feed dies.

So, the problem is communicating best Pervcam practice to the producers, which is on my shoulders, but is a constant struggle to fight against the vast amount of of other things they are monitoring.

I'm at the studio's tomorrow, hopefully the new cameras have turned up. If not, I will run checks on our cam laptops and the current cameras to see if everything is in working order, and make sure all the correct settings are being adhered to. If I find that the cameras are faulty, I will of course suspend Pervcam until the new ones are in place.

If any of you have had credits taken from you on Pervcam while it was on a black screen, PM me with your username and how much you spent and I will be happy to reimburse your account.

I have a question about that. How come all of us are seeing the same black screen? We aren't using the same computer nor are we sharing the same network. I my self use 2 different pc's. my main win7 & a win8 laptop & i get the same black screen.

Last night none of the cams worked all we got was a black screen nothing else. As for what i said about Lori pushing the cam out of the way. she knew it was a black screen she even said sorry about the cam on the mic but did nothing apart from move it out of her way. The point is she should of turned it of but she didn't. She left it on but moved it out of the way!!

You don't have to make big red writing for me to read it, cheers.

It's not the girls job to turn the camera off or logout, it's the girls job to get callers. If they know the camera is not working, it's up to the producer to log it out and look into it, which again comes back to me relaying the best practices to the producers. I'm confident these things can be ironed out over time.

You're all seeing the same black screen because the problem isn't at the users end, it's at our end, so we're literally streaming a black screen, so you all see it. My point was that it's almost definitely not a problem with the cameras, but more likely the laptop setup or potentially the stability of the internet connection.

The parts in big red text is what i'm emphasizing = making a point of. So that's for any 1 to read. The part i was asking you ended with the question mark ? & none of that was in big red text laugh
Well now that you have admitted the fault is at your end, im sure you'll be looking through your logs and refunding those people who spent credits on a black screen?
I'm sure Ofcom will be delighted to know you are not intentionally defrauding the customer.

Unfortunately we don't have logs of that kind to go back over it. We invite anyone to get in touch with us and tell us about problems you are having and will always refund credits where appropriate. You can even email me directly with any issues if you like: ben@babestation.tv.

THE WEBCAMS HAVE ARRIVED. They're pretty.
I had a look at your new cam & it still looks a bit pixelated
