We havent got sound drivers installed on this machine at the mo, was in a rush to get the machine up... the new machine (when we can build it), may well have the same audio as the sky broadcasts (it isnt that simple to add in our current set up)

As for your software freezing, dont know why, depends how it does it I guess... whether its taking screenshots, or trying to rip from the stream, which may not work as we use different hosts.
I am glad the stream is back, but it is now totally unwatchable annoyed
I used to record all day without it freezing, now i cant even get more that two seconds without it stoppingSad

PS : I am not moaning, just making an observation Wink
That's weird, when I watch it on the site, it doesnt stop at all... and Ive done that at work and at home (So on 2 different internet providers). Are you just getting this problem using recording software? or viewing it normally on a web-browser? If its just a browser then let me know the conditions so I can test it
It happens before i start recording, i just made the recording to point out the problem. I dont think it has anything to do with my browser because the feed has always worked perfectly in the past.I am using firefox 3.5.2
Just checked on FireFox 3.5.2, and on a wireless connection at home and no problems. Curious to see if other members are having the same problems, and if so, what browser/OS you are using.

sm© ... I know you said you did it before recording, but did you have your video capture program running? Just trying to eliminate what is causing the problem as the two people who have reported it freezing were using capture software.
Just tested it on the following browsers on my laptop running Vista (it is a powerful one so could be the flash animation on the pages causing trouble... will try to trim down the memory they use without altering their look:

Firefox 3.5.1 (Apologies, misread the version before)
Safari 4.0 (530.17)
IE8 (8.0.6001.18813)
Opera (9.64 Build 10487)

I'll test it on Firefox 3.5.2 when it updates and im at work (still at home now)
Glad to see the webstream has returned especially now I don't have Sky, I'd forgotten just how gorgeous Danica and Victoria are. With regards to the freezing problem I've found that if you have the option of compatibility view on your browser this greatly improves the quality of the streaming, hope this works for everyone else
When I first get to the site the picture freezes/refreshes every second or so. If I then reload the page it is ok. This fault is repeatable.
The picture plays ok but does seem slightly jerky.
The recording software is RecordMyDesktop. It does not capture the stream but records the video display from the computer. As soon as I try to record, the picture freezes. I have the latest version of Adobe flash player running in firefox 3.0.13 in Ubuntu 8.04 linux. Single core processor 1.8GHz
I notice that Firefox is using a lot of cpu power when the player is going, not full screen mode and no recording. see attachment.
The web stream is about 30KB/sec. On file downloads I regularly get 10 times this speed so that should not be a problem. Has more compression been used on the stream which requires mor processing power to uncompress? I seem to remember the stream rate being higher than this before.

I've just tried one of my faster computers and everything is ok including the recording.
The picture is still slightly jerky at times and I still have to reload the page when I first go to the site. (same OS, software etc)
I had no trouble watching or recording from the old bangbabes site, even with my slower computer which I prefer to use.

These tests were done during the last few hours.
If I shrink the size of my firefox browser window in the horizontal direction and adjust it so that nothing is seen to the right of the player, I have no problems recording on my slower computer. It looks like the animated graphics on the right are just too much for my computer. This is repeatable. When these graphics are displayed the picture freezes when I try to record. I suppose it might work even better if the browser window is shrunk to just display the player only.
Just proved that the animated advert on the right is the cause of the problems.
I have the adblock plus plugin installed on firefox. I just right clicked the animated advert on the right and blocked it. Recording still works even with a full sze browser window now. Smile
