A challenging surface to bat on & Hyderabad maybe let Dehli get 15 or 20 too many. After a fast start from Bairstow, who maybe should've held back a bit & got through the Powerplay. Difficult to criticize, when none of the middle order could help Williamson out, he looked a class apart. It took the number 9, Suchith, who hit 2 fours & a six to help them take it to the eliminator over.
I think Warner over thought it, trying to go with a left & right-hand combination, when Williamson should've been partnered by Bairstow. Warner made another crucial mistake as he was called short for one run, as Williamson hit just the one 4 off an Axar Patel over that went for just 7. Rashid Khan almost pulled it off with only Pant reaching the ropes once. A scrambled leg bye off the last ball sealed the win for Delhi.

Another AB Masterclass, he took Stoinis down in the last over of the innings, with 3 maximums. Pant & Hetmyer gave it a real good go. Hetmyer was clearing the ropes, but didn't get much strike in the last over, although Siraj bowled it pretty well.
