Wrestling Observer reports the 5 Impacts from 26th November to 31st December will be best of shows, with little or no new material; then TNA will relaunch on 7th January.
6, surely? Or no Christmas Eve show?

It's a shame that TNA clearly wanted to step up with the Japanese connection, but timed it with their own domestic troubles, didn't entirely make the best of it.
Decent PPV with 5 Wrestle 1 v TNA matches as part of Bound for Glory
agree mikedafc, enjoyed bound for glory last night, especially the wrestle 1 v tna matches
Series 2 of TNA British Bootcamp is on challenge tv tonight at 9pm with impact wrestling following at 10pm
apparently there is going to be announcement regarding a new tv deal hence the best of shows and starting again on 7jan.

if tna can keep hold of the likes of booby roode, aires, hardyz, team 3d, wolves, ec3 (still a dick), the knockouts, menagerie, storm, sanada, tiger one etc then get rid of the likes of mvp, Kenny king, bro mans who are adding nothing to the show has it would have been great to see a freud between mvp and angle over the director of wrestling operations role.

the weekly shows since slammiversary have been some of the best shows in a long time, the recent tag team series between wolves, hardyz and team 3d was fantastic, the 4 way for the number one contender eliminator was excellent.
ive heard that kurt angle is apparently going to sign a new 1yr deal with tna soon which will be his last deal as a pro wretler. also apparently a massive name is going to sign with tna soon is another rumour. can't see tna getting rid of the bromans, at least not getting rid of Robbie E because in real life he's dating tna knockout Brooke Adams who recently signed a new multi year tna deal

think at the moment tna is better than wwe, especially with their knockouts
I can't see them getting rid of the Bro-Mans either, but that's because I think they're addicted to schmucks.

This whole hiatus idea is not a good sign to me.

Quote:I reported earlier that TNA Executive Vice President John Gaburick was in New York City supposedly finalizing a television deal for TNA. I heard this from a reliable source, however TNA executive Bob Ryder - who was one of my very first wrestling interviews from back in 1997 during his Prodigy days - strongly rebuked my report on Twitter, writing:
More sloppy reporting. If you label something "exclusive" it should be accurate. Wrestling "journalism" isn't what it used to be.

Dave Scherer later reported on PWInsider that Gaburick is at TNA offices in Nashville, TN.

I reached out again to my source, who said that the report was accurate except for the fact that Gaburick was not currently in New York City, but was there this past weekend and on Monday. They were also looking to set up more TV tapings in New York City, since the TV announcement is imminent and they wanted to be able to lock in a date with a venue as quickly as possible. The company apparently wants to shoot new TV as soon as possible once the deal is announced.

I reached out to another source, who confirmed my report and said that Dixie Carter will be making an announcement this Friday.

So look like TNA will not have a break after all.Cant wait for the TV deal to be announced on Friday.
that is great, there have been some great moments since slammiversary ppv before that it was below average.

mallendez seems to be a good signing for tna. team3d and Kenny Anderson would have backed him if he was not good enough.
