Why would any company want someone who hasn't actively wrestled since 2004?

oct 6th was meant to be the 3hour show but tna decided to keep to its normal time slot 9pm to 11pm on spike.
i think the only way they would get goldberg in tna is if crimson gets close to samoa joe's unbeaten record.
sting gave hogan enough rope to hang himself on it.

Yeah, nothing like adding yet another 40+ year old wrestler to the roster. Why not ask for Lou Thesz and Buddy Rogers too ? Or how about Bruno Sammartino or George Hackenschmidt ?

Isn't this called "the true innocence of the man who knows nothing"?
TNA needs Goldberg - like it needs a hole in the head. Unless it was Russo's head, obviously.
I'd say it was a good bet that even if Roode does beat Angle clean, which he should, then they'll go with Hogan-Sting as the closing match anyway. Or: Roode's post-match celebration will be interrupted by Hogan coming out to share the moment

Probably. I was thinking of some phrase by a Chilean poet spoken by Ardal McHanlon about Father Dougal Maguire.
Like a sledgehammer cracking a walnut...
