Oh my god. A virgin in a Red Light zone.
That's funny just thinking about it.
But will he be able to concentrate on the work
in at hand.

i know it was working fine all day but at the time of my post and few periods during the week it freezes or shows a jumpy paused pictured.

Well no offence Cathy, but I hope you didn't pay that guy from Virgin. Because stream 2 is still freezing, and the quality is horrendous.
What is it with babe channels and webstreams. Hardly anyone of them seem to be able to get it right.
it turned out to be hardware failure now sorted

just notice the much improved quality of the streams. hopefully evrything well be much smoother when the 3rd stream is luanched.

Well you may have cured the freezing issue, but if that's what you call sorted, and your happy with it. Then I wish you the best of luck. Because that picture quality is as bad now, as it was before you supposedly improved it.
Any movement at all, and your picture end up looking like someones thrown a bucket of water over a freshly painted water colour.
I'm struggling sometimes to even recognise who's on screen, never mind pick out any detail.
I think it's time for me go elsewhere.
ADDITION: I just double checked your bit-rate, Your running stream 1 at 64 Kb/sec, but only running stream 2 at 29Kb/sec. Therein lies your problem.
we lowered the bit rate as we were still having issues to thanks for taking the time to let us know x

Thanks Cathy for confirming that.
But it's always better to be honest and upfront on this forum, otherwise bar-stewards like me, will just do a little digging and find out anyway.
So some questions for you to ask your technical crew.
1. Are you using 2 encoders, one for each stream? because if your trying to encode both streams off one, then that is also going to cause you problems. And if your launching a third stream, then your going to need 3 encoders.
2. Do you have adequate upload capacity to handle two/three streams at 64Kb/sec? Otherwise you may have to upgrade it with your service provider.
3. What are you doing to smooth out the frame rate? Because again, that has to be done with your encoder settings.
Sorry to be a nosey, pushy bar-steward.
But I just want a decent stream to watch & record.
All the best
Ace.
