I totally agree, and tbh some of the original 'artists' aren't bad songwriters, they just present their work in a format we can't enjoy, so I thank these bands who take a theoretically good song and make it actually great. Cool
That's very true,good point.
Some sad news regarding Gary Holt from Slayer. He has left their farewell tour so he can be with his dying father.Ex-Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel has stepped in as a replacement.
Found an old EP earlier on and thought I'd share this particular track,Have you Ever? By Traitor(1985)from the self titled EP.
The other songs are average but this one is excellent, there's a beautiful bass riff during the intro that's reminiscent of Cliff Burton.

Thanks for posting^^^^
I prefer Alone in a Room from the two tracks, the acoustic versions have impressive vocals but for me,the heavy original versions are better.
I've always appreciated metal fusions, one of my favorites is folk metal, what do people think?

I liked Eluveitie - King, it has some good guitar rhythm to it, the interlude at the 2m 35 sec mark is quite good with the change in guitar and folk rhythm.
I would say that, for me, Saltatio Mortis has the better guitar riffs to it out of the 4 vids. As a view as a whole to the combination of folk and metal, I thought Eluveitie was probably the better one.
Great posting PoZo.
