Iron Maiden 1980
Killers 1981

The stuff they were putting out then was glorious metal but it had that almost punkish rough edge to it as well. I thought it was the fucking dogs bollocks and I still do.

But I prefer the Dicko & Nicko show Wink

I'm a huge fan of Maiden and they're amazing live,I even like the stuff from the Blaze Bayley era but I actually prefer their output from the "Brave New World" album and onwards.
I really hope Slayer play this at the Manchester gig in November.

A mate of mine was at this show and he said they were in tremendous form.

For those that were politely interested in the Amon Amarth gig on Scuzz, your luck is in this week:

Monday @ 9pm - Skindred
Tuesday @ 9pm - King 810, and @10pm - Municipal Waste
Wednesday @ 9pm - AMON AMARTH - about an hour and a half, maybe more
Thursday @ 9pm - King 810, and @ 10pm - Municipal Waste

Right, that's you told Wink
^ It was a really good set and they ended it with "Twilight of the Thunder God" which is my favourite favourite song of theirs.Smile
Anyone else like Flotsam & Jetsam?

My mate and I got talking about them earlier today,Iron Tears still sounds awesome.

From the album "Doomsday for the Deceiver".Its a fantastic thrash album and the only one to feature Jason Newstead on bass before he departed for Metallica.
This Slayer show from the 29/05 featured the same set as the San Diego gig,I hope they mix it up a bit when they arrive in the UK.

Found a great YouTube channel called NWOTHM(New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal)Full Albums, dedicated to showcasing new bands that play that classic, old school,NWOBHM and 80s style inspired thrash.Including this by ShadowkillerSmile

Another one that I recommend : Iron Hunter-Mankind Resistance
