The human spirit is a beautiful thing indeed.

It's great to see Katie happy and smiling again. She's shown amazing spirit and really turned her life around.

Here's hoping she sees this. I want to wish Katie and her family the happiest of Christmases and the best in 2011 xxx

If anyone deserves a good 2011 its definitely Katie.

I generally pride myself in my use of the English language, but I have no words to adequately describe the depth of my admiration for this young lady's courage and determination.

I can, however, quite unashamedly admit to tears of joy at reading of Katie's progress and seeing the pictures in this thread.
