The second Messages To Katie thread has been closed since it has now been forwarded to Katie. However, as others may wish to post a message of support for her there is now a third Messages To Katie thread, which will also be sent to her in due course.
Good work admin for making it possible to contact Katie Piper in this way. I saw the tv documentary on channel 4 about the acid attack and think she is wonderfully brave. I don't know her from party people as I haven't watched any day shows but I'll be happy to add my support.

Watching the documentary on C4 was one of the toughest hours of tv I have ever watched, I don't mind admitting I was close to tears several times. It was heartbreaking to see her mum wanting to hug her but hardly daring to in case she hurt her. But I wouldn't have missed it, Katie is a truly amazing and inspiring person, I hope the scum who did this saw this programme then they will know what they did achieved nothing as she hasn't let them win and is determined not to let this attack stop her from living life the way she wants it. As her sister said there's no reason she can't acheive anything she wants. I for one hope she does. I left a message for her a few days ago, on the 2nd thread, i'm sure it'll help to know so many people still love her and wish her well.

My admiration for Katie is huge. After what she has been through, it takes a lot of courage for her to do what she is doing.

I agree Gillyboy2, how the hell does life end up being probably out in 16 years???. They should rot in prison for what they did they're a disgrace. Personally I think it's about time we got much tougher in our prisons, there's innocent people on the outside who have harder lives through no fault of there own, should be no tv, playstations etc, they're supposed to be getting punished, they should make them do hard labour.Far too many do gooders around these days.
