I'll stick to a bag of cheese and onion when I'm feeling peckish. I hate spiders, whether they're running around my carpet or deep fried on a plate.

Grub Smith is a braver man than I am!! (Or he's a tool...I haven't made my mind up yet)
For anyone reading this thread and missed the start of the show last night and is wondering what all the spider talk is about, I will explain.
The show started 4 minutes late. The first 4 minutes of my recording was the Virgin1 "Travel Sick" program showing Grub Smith and some large spiders in Cambodia.
After that, the lovely Lilly Roma appeared without any anouncement. Nice to see her back on the TV again.
At 3.21am she was replaced by Adele until 5.00am when Lilly re-appeared for the last half hour. Adele looked beautiful as usual and the first half of her section was very good. She only took a few minutes to get her top off and she was topless for the rest of the time she was on.
When Lilly reappeared her mic did not work. I wish they would get these mic problems sorted.
On a positive note, the aspect ratio problems have been fixed. Smile
I also think the background music is quite good.

The last 30 seconds of my recording had Lucy-Anne introducing the Early Bird show.

I assume that's down to Virgin 1 for their show over-running?

No. The "Travel Sick" program started at its scheduled time of 3.00am.
Did you actually see the start of 'Travel Sick', Watcher? What I'm thinking is maybe the feeds were switched wrong and Virgin 1 got 4 mins of Lilly Roma . . . . .

Yes, just checked my recording, first there were some adverts for a halloween program on the "Living" channel and then the Grub Smith program started.

I bet that was a big surprise for Virgin 1 viewers.
I've just spent quite a while making a vid of Adele from last night.
I was just about to upload it when I noticed there was no sound on my left speaker.
It was not the speakers or computer at fault. There was no left channel sound on the original file on my computer before editing. There was none on the DVD I copied it from and there was none on my original PVR recording. Checked my PVR with my hifi amp and other recordings are ok. Did not notice it before since I only watched my recording on the TV which is not stereo.
Has anyone else noticed no sound on left channel?

I meant did you see it on CH 20.

Huh Virgin 1 is a 24-hr channel.

Yes the left audio carrier isn't working. I mentioned it last week and was told that some men in overalls are currently working on the audio system to try and restore it to full working condition.
