Sadly, its been more down than up, from what I've seen; basically, 1 decent show (by the poor standards of Freeview), 1 OK show, and the rest have been poor; some of it has been even poorer than I remember on Tamestation!
Wednesday's show was poor, once again (Toni was best, but that’s not saying much).
I think Amanda is on this morning, though I'm not sure if we will get to see her on Freeview; even if we do, there is no guarantee that it won't be like last Sunday's show, where, despite being the best babe that morning, she was in full Tamestation mode.
Even at her best on Freeview, if the reports & caps elsewhere are anything to go by, it is difficult not to draw the conclusion that, once again, Freeview viewers are being short-changed by a babe channel broadcaster.
BTW, what name have we decided upon? Tame Babes, Lame Babes or Boring Babes?
Trying to be optimistic, it’s only 1 week old; maybe there will be an improvement before long? Or has Freeview been designated as a promotional exercise only, along the lines of ‘here are the babes you can see doing something interesting/entertaining…if you had satellite, but as you’ve only got Freeview, tough! Perhaps you need to get satellite...’

There are a few giveaways - the staticness of Toni when she's on the Freeview channel and the fact we Jet - one of the more 'enthusiastic' BB performers - has never (AFAIK) appeared on the FV channel yet.
Also not far into tonight's show you could lipread Toni saying
"What? Rub What? Bend Over? Rub My Tits? *Rubs her tits*"
Then there was a bit more where I guess he said rub your pussy or something similar and although it's not easy to work out from what I can tell she then says something along the lines of...
"I'm afraid we can't do much on Freeview"
Now I think a lot of that boils down to the fact there's a lot of uncertainty about what you can do on Freeview. I emailed Ofcom around the time I created the Tamestation thread in the BS forum and only recently got a reply with them saying "Ofcom judges content and complaints against its Broadcasting Code (available at
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/tv/ifi/codes/bcode/ )
but there is no prescribed list to state what is and is not allowed to be shown."
The very fact that Ofcom themselves don't have a set idea of what is and what is not allowed probably means BS and BB have no idea whether they are allowed to show the same on Sky and Freeview so go for the safety option when the FV hours begin. I'm still waiting to hear back from them with a solid answer on whether there are different 'rules' for Sky and Freeview but from what I got back from them so far there should be no need to tone down the content for Freeview.
I guess this morning’s effort proves it; after what looks to have been a fantastic night on $ky, with Amanda, apparently, on amazing form, the contrast with Freeview couldn’t be greater, as all we got, was another episode of Tame/Lame/Boring Babes.
Amanda was on for 1 section, and was best babe on, but, once again, she was in full Tamestation mode; she even said ‘cheeky’ (at least) 6 times during her intro, and barely got past ‘side on’ to camera.
So, another broadcaster is treating those of us unlucky enough to have Freeview as second-class citizens (actually, second-class would be a generous description).
Fucking pathetic!
NB: The usual caveat applies: none of the above is meant as a criticism of any of the babes; they have clearly been instructed that nothing more than severely cut down/ultra tame ‘content’ is to be shown on Freeview.

AFAIK, there is no distinction made between different FTA platforms, merely between FTA & Encrypted.
I have contacted Ofcon in the past to complain about censorship (waste of time, BTW), and all they said was that 'it is entirely up to the broadcaster to decide what they broadcast, so long as they comply with our broadcast code'.
BTW, is it just me, or did they seem to be really struggling for calls this morning; I wonder why.

I thought admin had already confirmed that the channels follow one set of rules (broadcasting code).
I've seen all of the freeview shows so far. I just watched last nights and the one from the night before this morning. The shows have been very varied in the level of content and these last 2 nights were a bit below average. Amanda's 27 minute slot last night was in full Tamestation mode.
As I have said previously about Babestation, and can now say about Bangbabes, if there are different rules for Sky and Freeview, they are nothing to do with ofcom but are rules imposed on the companies by Sky who demand that the freeview content is not as good as that on Sky.
With the advent of the digital switchover, Sky will be doing all they can to get extra customers and retain existing ones. (Freeview will be available to more homes after switchover due to the signal strength being increased)
Bangbabes are in competition with Cellcast. There is no way that they would tame their programs down to the Cellcast level unless outside pressure was being applied. I'm sure that pressure is from Sky not ofcom.
I would still rather watch Bang Babes on Freeview than any of the Babestation channels that display an advertisment every 2 minutes. At least Bangbabes actually give uninterrupted coverage of the girls.
It would be good to hear an explanation from someone at one of the channels as to why they feel the need to tone it down to something resembling less than NutsTV when they go onto Freeview.
