AMANDA as just posted on her web site blog that the shows on freeview have to be tamed down when they first start up on freeview , she does not say why ,,,,

So the freeview shows are a totally diferent broadcast then?! Or are they 'edited' from the main cameras, how could they do that, and more to the point why? Surely its on after the watershed anyway, and can be pin coded should that be nec? I guess youve covered this already , but ive come in at the end of a long thread. Im glad i have sky, but was thinking of getting a freeview box for the bedroom just to fall asleep watching bb ect. Perhaps its a waste of time, im staggered!

After I've seen Donna on the show tomorrow (not seen her on TV since she left BS some months ago) I'll probably stop watching Bangbabes on freeview. I'm really disappointed that the show is so tame compared to the version on Sky. (I'm sure Sky is behind this, not ofcom)
Although the freeview version of Babestation is tamer than the Sky version, the difference between the 2 versions of Bangbabes is far greater and I feel even more cheated.

Well, BB Freeview will certainly make you sleep. You could save yourself the cost of a Freeview box, and, say, watch a blank screen, for much the same effect!

Only Amanda was up to Tamestation level (just) - the rest of it I think needs to be labelled LameBabes. (They certainly didn't appear capable of much in the way of movement.)

Well after a few good sections when the channel first started up on Freeview, Bang Babes has now become BORE BABES, last night was even worse than what Tamestation was showing, and that’s saying something.

Anyway I think the main thing that pisses off me and other Freeview only people on here is that there is NO NEED for it, Ofcon regulate all television platforms the SAME regardless of it being on Satellite, Cable or Terrestrial, so who ever is actively taming these shows down for Freeview broadcast is doing it not because Ofcon are making them, but for some other reason.

But you know what fuck it, I can get much better and harder content at a click of a mouse button any time of the day with the Internet, so why bother with these pathetic channels anymore, I’m sick and tired of not being treated the same as Sky viewers just because I’m on the Freeview platform.

Not quite. She says they have to follow "the rules" without specifying what rules she means. This is exactly what was said in response to the complaints about censorship of BS when it first started on Freeview, but it's still being censored. In fact, the situation is worse because since the Freeview version of BS started some aspects of the Sky version have got stronger, making the difference between the two even greater.

Amanda's first section on BB Freeview was an absolute scorcher, with no attempt by the cameraman to avoid or censor what she was doing, in fact he did just the opposite, frequently zooming in on the action, proving that there is no actual need for the show to be tamed on Freeview. Her second section a couple of days later wasn't as hot, but still light-years ahead of BS Freeview. Sadly it's all gone a bit downhill in the last few days.

I've got a feeling there taking an overly safe stance while they break in the new freeview channel. First 25 minutes tonight have been better than the previous few days combined but still not quite up to normal BangBabes standard. We'll see what Candy is like if she has a stint on FV later.

Maybe they're taking it extra careful while the channel 'settles' in on Freeview. I still say it's a massive improvement over Babestation, even with the recent tameness because the girls aren't cut off by on-screen ads every 5 minutes like Cellcast do.

If I had not seen her on the webshow in the past, I would have not known who she was. The mics were not working at all last night, twice when Candy used it and again when Amanda was speaking. We could not hear a word they were saying.
Candy's performance was spoilt by the poor camera work, as said above, the sideways arse view, not one shot of bum to camera.
Overall it was a poor show. The other 2 girls on were Sarah Lou and Amanda. Amanda was in full Tamestation mode. If I was her, I would refuse to appear on the freeview part of the show. It does nothing for her reputation. I saw her earlier on the webshow where she was very good.
If I was moderator of this part of the forum, I would be tempted to change the title of this thread to "Bang Babes on Freeview is Crap"
As I posted earlier, I just want to see Donna and then I'll not bother with channel 98 again unless I see reports of an improvement.

BTW I got a couple of minutes of Early Bird at the end of my recording. The mic was ok then as Emma Spellar introduced herself.
The mic problem has occured on every freeview bangbabes show so far. They seem totally incompetant at fixing it. I did wonder if its on purpose and they expect people to ring in and report the mic is not working.
