To be fair, it's 3 channels, since the freeview channel is just a repeat of one of the sky channels, so the ratio isn't quite so bad especially when you add the day girls doing guest appearances. The problem is that not all the girls will be available consistently because of illness/holidays/etc, so it starts to get a bit lean when you take that into account.
An extra 1 or 2 would be good, but they would have to be the 'right' 1 or 2, preferably experienced in the business, consistent and energetic performers, to light a bit of a fire under the regulars. Lolly B would have been a great addition for all the right reasons, but it didn't happen. Finding other such girls who are available for work is not so easy I'm sure.

Elite have 4 Sky night time channels as well as the freeview channel
Sky channels 914 , 920 , 921 , 965 and freeview CH 192 , the freeview channel is usually the same feed as Sky Ch 920 and Sky channels 965 and 921 are usually the same feed (i think) Jamie thanked a post were someone mentioned that Elite would probably start off using a few duplicate feeds then would eventually look to be using separate feeds for all their channels , or some thing like that , that's were my 4 channels and and 9 girls ratio comes from . The 9 regular night time girls comment was made a few weeks ago and in reference to another post listing the regular night time girls on Elite . So if Elite does eventually go to more separate channel feeds they will definitely need more girls than they have at present .

Care to address any of these issues, Jamie?

Maybe Jamie should spend less time hyping pornstars he hasn't actually signed and buying every channel slot going and instead put some of that energy into fixing a "problem" that his phone system has suffered from for over a year

And as for the "rules" argument, that doesn't explain why Sophia consistently puts on great shows (and the occasional spectacular one, like her oil show the other day), while the likes of Ashley, Dionne and Charlie just show up and do the same (fairly boring) thing every shift. Not to mention the complete non-event that was Danica's last night "show".


And that's before we even get started on your Freeview channel. The dedicated thread has made for interesting reading lately.

Waste of time, I'm afraid - all they will say is that "it is 'entirely' up to the broadcaster to decide what they wish to broadcast... as long as they comply with our broadcast code" (!)

It has been said many, many, MANY times before, but why do you (broadcasters in general) just keep accepting ever greater amounts of censorship, instead of challenging 'Ofcon's' outrageously arbitrary, and extreme, censorial regime?

I'm amazed that people are still watching this tame crap, let alone there being enough of them paying good money (which is necessary to keep the channels in business)?

How do Elite go about challenging Offcom? Very easy to say they should do it, but practically how would it work.

It would involve lawyers, courts etc? This would take a long time, probably years, with appeals etc.

What would offcom do once they were challenged, continue as normal or target the complaining channel mercilessly?

Basically the way I see it is this.

Elite challenge offcom
Case takes a year maybe more.
During that time Elite get 30+ reports per month, from vindictive offcom
Elite challenge these, but whilst legal stuff ensues,
6 months later they are banned from broadcasting, due to multiple breaches.
Elite have no income, their staff are unemployed, and no resources to fight the case.
Cases dropped due to Eilte having no money.

So a challenge to offcom leads to... Elite out of business.

In theory broadcaster should challenge, and IMO win.
In the real world, challenge is not practical, unless the broadcaster has enough resources to fight the case, and pay staff whilst the channel is off air.

So if anyone has 10 million to spare pass it on to Jamie who i am sure might take great pleasure in actually giving offcom a good kicking.

Exactly Jamie would love to give ofcom a beating but it's too much hassle and money and would put elite at a big risk of finishing and we don't want that

Agreed, hypothetically, if they broadcast more channels, then they need more girls. Bit of a non-issue though isn't it, on that basis, every single babe channel is theoretically understaffed!

Isn't there an internet 'law' that whenever an argument reaches a point that someone or something is likened to the nazis, the argument is over, it has reached a natural end where all reasonable points have been made and people are now clutching at straws? Certainly seems the case here.
Until and unless someone comes forward with an open cheque to fund the legal expenses, fact is, the babe channels have little option but to comply with Ofcom, however unreasonable they may appear to be. From a business perspective, there is little option. Welcome to the real world.

Indeed. If the channel is so bad, makes you wonder why they still watch enough to be able to criticise so concisely. Maybe the nursing staff leave it on deliberately to wind them up before they strap them to the beds in their padded cells for the night

Elite have 4 channels on Sky they broadcast from at night but only use 2 or 3 independent feeds , i was bearing in mind in the post i made a few weeks ago about the ratio of girls to channels in what was said in another post and thanked by Jammie concerning Elite using all there channels for a separate feed at some point ie 4 , Elite are at present paying for the licences , air time , Sky EPG slots for 2 of their own channels 914 and 965 , and are leasing and paying for a further 2 Sky channels from TVX , all requiring separate licences and EPG slots to be paid for , so at present Elite tv are broadcasting from 4 individual channels on Sky all requiring to be payed for separately either directly for their own channels or by rent to TVX , they at present just choose to use 2 or 3 live non duplicate feeds for these channels .

I don't agree with what you say about "every single babe channel is theoretically understaffed" , i think BS and RLC have quite a lot of girls working for them compared to channels they currently have the possibility of broadcasting from ie they both currently only broadcast from 3 Sky channels each (not counting freeview) and don't pay for licences air time and EPG slots for other channels and just use a duplicate feed , Elite unlike other channels has a spare channel at present that they have already payed (other channels don't) for but chooses at present to show a duplicate feed from another channel , so they will soon need to either use 4 separate feeds or give a channel up as there is no point in paying for channels they never use for a independent feed , TVX are not going to let Elite use their channels for nothing .

I must have been dreaming when I saw the two separate threads in the Babestation section complaining about their onscreen graphics then. Not to mention most of the posts in the BS discussion thread are complaints.

Similarly, am I not correct in saying that Red Light have plenty of negative comments in their section about their hiring and firing policies, their own call stacking, and the nature of their shows?

What about the endless talk in the SportXXX threads about how their shows are being tamed?

Club Paradiso and the complaints about the webstream and reliance on Courtney?

etc, etc.

Maybe the reason why Elite seems to get more than the others is simply because people expect better from it? There was a time when Elite was considered the best channel (many people are still of that opinion), but we all know they could be doing so much better than they are now.
