RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations
Latest list of investigations.

Up to 28 April 2011

Programme Channel Transmission Date Date Lodged

Elite Days Elite TV 2 Tuesday, 05 April 2011 12 April 2011
Elite Nights Elite TV 2 Friday, 18 March 2011 12 April 2011
Elite Nights Elite TV 2 Sunday, 10 April 2011 12 April 2011

Three new investigations lauched against Elite TV for transmissions on 914. All three investigations are NOT due to complaints but from the regulator monitoring the output from this broadcaster, assisted by this forum and possibly other broadcasters.

The regulator now seems to have more than an unhealthy interest in this broadcaster and it would appear they are looking for their next big scalp.

Whilst i do not know the reason for two of the investigations i believe the one for the 18th March is due to content seen after they had requested footage to investigate offensive language.

Channel line up for that night.

Friday 18th March

Nighttime - Ashley Emma, Caty Cole, Charlie O'Neal & Tori Black.

Elite forum goes into meltdown with expectations of Tori's performance with Jamie of Elite trying to calm things down.

http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...36&page=28

This was not helped by Caty C using overt sexual language on the mic, posted at least twice on the forum.

http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...8&page=153

Show producers and presenters should know that Ofc@m take a very negative view of such language concerning serious sexual assault even though it was said in jest.

During the performance of Tori it was stated a few times how filthy she is on the phone and then that the mic had been left on...

http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...36&page=36

Caps and vids were then posted including slips and the long awaited 241 between Caty and Tori.

http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...648&page=2

On two occasions Chilly called it quite correctly that information posted was clear evidence for Ofc@m to take action and those comments are now realised.

The initial investigation into offensive language, mic left on, resulted in a 'Not in Breach' finding from Ofc@m reported in their latest bulletin.

Programme Transmission Date Broadcaster Categories Number of complaints

Elite Nights 18/03/2011 Elite TV2 Participation TV - Offence 1

This is probably due to the clarity of the language not being good enough with all the other background noises. Similar to the 39 complaints against Sky for the live Wayne Rooney double F@ck comments that Ofc@m stated were not clear enough to offend and find 'In Breach' even though he was only 2 feet from the mic, with the footage being good enough for the football authorities to ban him for two games, selective hearing or what.

Live Football Special 02/04/2011 Sky Sports 2 Offensive language 39

Can't have double standards can we.

Anyway here it is read it and weep.

Red Hot Mums found 'In Breach' on four occasions for showing pornagraphic advertising content on FTA with double standards being shown by Ofc@m but thats another post.

RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations
Following my previous post do not think that i am asking that comments and content are not posted because they are being used by the regulator. I am all for free expression and speech and against the draconian and over zealous actions of the regulator.

We are aware that the regulator monitors output of all channels and i found this attached to the end of a response from the regulator which had nothing to do with the information requested.

It is against Press TV an Iranian news channel that was subsequently found 'In Breach'.

It would appear that some 3 months of monitoring was requested. George Galloway is mentioned in the breach finding who just happens to be on TV at the moment concerning phone tapping.

Sorry not watching the Babe Channels at the moment since the regulator recently stuck their noses in at SEL (SportXXX) its all gone a bit flat.

You just can't imagine what they would be asking for when monitoring the Babe channels.

You will see that this Broadcast Bulletin also records some of the many 'In Breach' findings against licensee SEL who are still awaiting a penalty, possibly revocation of their licenses but this may be determined in the High Court.

RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations
Red Hot Mums is an encrypted channel. During a freeview the wrong tape was put on. "A concerned member of the public" just happened to be watching the freeview, was offended and complained. RHM investigated and found that this had happened a total of 4 times.

What exactly are the chances of a casual viewer who does not like adult content tuning in exactly then?

Gone fishing

RE: Ofcom - Current Investigations
Do you know what fuck the lot of them, Elite and Sport will all quite happily go down without a fight so until such time that any one of them has the balls to take Ofcom on they are pretty much fucked from the word go. No other country in Europe has to put up with the amount of bullshit regarding Adult material, why's that then, because they give a fuck and won't be pushed around by anybody, until the babe channels take a stand I personally couldn't give a fuck they deserve what's coming to them for being the cowards the lot of them are, if I was running a babe channel I would take the bastards on even it meant the licence being revoked. Ofcom are not invincible so say fuck you I'll see you in the high court on Monday morning and if that doesn't work I'll challenge you in the European Court Of Human Rights and see what Johnny fucking foreigner makes of all this. If anything the babe channels should be fined, the lot of them for being so fucking tame, charging a premium rate number to serve up this cannon fodder night after night. Fuck Ofcom and fuck the babe channels for being the cowards they are.

It would appear so and i believe that is also the case against SEL (SportXXX). I have posted evidence from what i assume to be part of an internal memo where the regulator has concerns over Press TV and requested 3 months of monitoring of 9 hours per day looking specifically at three areas of their transmissions.

The initial investigation of the 18th March against Elite TV concerning alleged offensive language (mic left on) was never recorded on the weekly Ofc@m list of investigations and is the one i mentioned in my post of 253.

Why they hold information on investigations back i don't know but i'm sure they will have an answer for me.

I hope more members are reading this thread, as well as newbies, because there's always someone who will ruin it for all of us. Posting content should be fine, as long as the posters don't draw attention to anything suspicious, as in capping slips or mentioning them, or mentioning when the mic is on. That will only feed the loser monster known as Ofcom. I think anything revealing should be kept to PM's only, especially comment wise.
