Well, a quick update from me. I've now had the MyBBSQL error exactly 37 times since my above post. Slightly different than my post above. But still the basic 5. Out of memory one's.

Just a different configuration underneath, with the Dateline number changing each time.

This problem isn't getting better with your changes, it's getting worse!!!!

And then to cap it all it does it again, when I try a second time. and then again when I try and make this post for the first time.

What the hell is going on?

Has the forum been down.
I have been unable to access any threads for nearly an hour.
Everything was ok up to about 4.40pm this afternoon when it started to go very slow. Then the only thing I could access was the "View Today's posts"
I could see that there was a period around 5pm when very few posts were being made. Even though I could later see that posts were being made again I was unable to access them.
I have switched to using Chrome instead of Firefox to be able to make this post. It did not help earlier.
This was one error message I got earlier but mainly it was just all frozen.
No problem with other sites.
Its still slow here

Is this all happening because of the numbers using the forum (Specifically guests) ???

If so, surely there is only one way to ensure that members of this site get logged on when they need/want to
and that is to restrict access to the guests..

I know it is probably way more complicated than that but as you can see its getting fairly frustrating to have to
wait several minutes for a page to load for it only then to give you an internal server error or similar!

The forum has been either taking ages to load, or simply not loading at all for well over an hour.

No, there's another way. I've just ordered a server upgrade.

It's just taken me 3 goes to update the forum and another 4 or 5 tries to open this page.

Same as the above Posts. About 3.30 P.M. tried to log in and all I was getting was SERVICE UNAVAILABLE. Now It"s taken about 10 mins just to do 2 sets of Pics, and I had to give up trying to post the rest. If anything this past week the forum has been the slowest I have known it to be.
