Slow Board & "MyBB SQL Errors"

when clicking to view a profile:

SQL Error:

had the above error a few times in the last hour

For the last few days I've been getting error after error mainly "500 internal server" errors plus some of those posted above no matter what part of the forum I'm looking at.
The forum at the moment has become unbearable to use because of all the errors.
I know Admin is trying to sort it out but it is very frustrating.

Thanks to all those who have posted error messages. With your help it looks like the problem has now been fully diagnosed.

PS to Chimpy - you are correct, it is indeed a memory problem (although the scrolling message doesn't really qualify as a contributory factor).

PS to rover - Just to clarify something, I am not 'trying' to sort it out, I am sorting it out.

Well, I don't know if this is because your working on it right now or not. But I just got this:

Yes, I too got the "Out of memory, yada yada yada" message. When I was on the "Who's next for an Ofcomming?" thread about, ooh, 21:15ish.

PS - the only 'MyBB SQL error' I'd experienced previously was when I took My BBgun and BLSTD a tree-rat, only to then discover it was a R/SQL, rather than the despised G/SQL that I had taken it to be.

i notice the currently online users lists seems to have vanished so maybe that will stop some of the errors
