Nothing could be further from the truth.

He asked why he has to accept these shows and I pointed out that he doesn't have to accept them. If he doesn't like the shows he has a choice not to watch them.

As for your absurd comment about feedback, someone saying that they choose not to watch anymore would also qualify as feedback. Surely that must be obvious even to you?

Bit harsh? Don’t think this is as serious as you are taking it, it’s opinions at the end of the day not everybody will agree but everyone is entitled to their views on the shows, and the shows at S66 certainly ain’t of a high enough quality to be arguing over IMO.

That was me just stating a fact, I never said that anyone suggested anything

I think the problem here is a perceived inference of the original 7 stars post was an attempt to shut down criticism. It is for forumites generally to decide to what extent that said perception is justified.
All I would say is if the advice to not watch shows or and channels in the face of perceived sub standard output was taken to it's logical conclusion then sycophancy and praise may then run the risk of dominating in a wholly unhealthy fashion. There will be those who do not wish a forum such as this to become a mere fanzone. To those people any inference (intended or not) that criticism should be canned will antagonise to the enth degree.
Added to all of this of course falls the question as to how anyone is supposed to judge the merits or not of a show without at least perusing it first?

Well to be fair the original post in this discussion was complaining about the quality of shows for "the past month" which the poster felt he shouldn't have to accept. A month is surely enough time to be "perusing it first" and deciding whether you wish to continue watching or not.
