london 2012 has to the best olympic summer games ever not because we are doing well because the facilities are great, the atmosphere at the venues have been electric no matter who is competing, the coverage has been great so far.

Sorry, men (Pithall and Patience) - the women are currently 2nd but still have three races to go.

Given that we're also guaranteed four more medals in the boxing we've reached the target of 48 set by the BOA.

like you say they are both looking gud for silver but to get gold they hav to topple them aussies which looks difficult for them both! lets hope they can! i apologise its the new zealand flag so the women hav to beat them not the aussies

sir chris of hoy is looking very good for gold in the kerin. queen victoria of pendelton is looking might fine for the sprint gold. there is a possibility of a medal in the individual dressage, not the first time gb stopped the dominance of the germans. the germans were saying over the last couple of years that gb have some good horses for dressage.

lura trott went too high on the final bend which lost her ground and time.

5.25pm pendelton goes for her 3rd and final gold medal.

david brailsford targets the olympics instead of the world championships, world cup, euros which is the annoyance to the french. it wont surprise me that the track cycle team have a poor year then improve in 2014, world champions in 2015 then rio 2016 are the dominant team at all the meetings. track cycle operates like the rowing on olympic cycles and bringing through the youngsters thats why laura trott will be the female star of british track cycling over the next few years.
