BBC confirms that Jonny Brownlee has incurred a 15-second penalty for mounting his bike too early.

Australia beat Pakistan 7-0 in their last Men's hockey group game to book their place in the semi-finals:

Australia v Germany
Netherlands v GB or Spain.

GB play Spain at 19.00 tonight and only need a draw to make the last four.

Gold and Bronze for the Brownlee Bros thats no19 and still got Hoy Pendleton and Trott in the Velodrome and the Equestrian lot. Looks like gonna be the best total ever in a games

Sorry, men (Pithall and Patience) - the women are currently 2nd but still have three races to go.

Given that we're also guaranteed four more medals in the boxing we've reached the target of 48 set by the BOA.

43 medals so far, could be 3 more from the track cycling, 1 from the team dressage (we are currently top, possible gold.). team gb are going to smash 48 with a possible 50+ medals. the boxers have been fantastic.

london 2012 has to the best olympic summer games ever not because we are doing well because the facilities are great, the atmosphere at the venues have been electric no matter who is competing, the coverage has been great so far.
