Still in the mountains with Stage14. 151.8 km from Annemasse to Morzine-Les Portes Du Soleil
Stage temporarily stopped as all the medical staff are busy dealing with a large crash.

An unusual decision but the correct one.
Young Spanish rider Carlos Rodriguez (Ineos Grenadiers) suprised a few of the GC riders at the top of the last climb as he powered down the mountain to get the stage win.

It was then cat and mouse between the yellow jersey Jonas Vingegaard & white jersey Tadej Pogacar, with Pogacar getting the extra time for finishing second and Vingegaard got the extra time points for finishing 3rd.

I briefly saw that after the crash, but missed the crash itself! What exactly happened do you know?? Ambulances involved, but didn't hear any updated news on injuries.
^The cameras only caught the aftermath but it seems it was a simple case of someone slowing down a bit on a greasy road causing a chain reaction. The only major injury I know of is Louis Meintjes with a broken collarbone but there will be plenty of sore riders tonight. A couple of Movistar riders & Esteban Chaves from EF Easypost also abandoned but I don't know what their injuries are.

10km later Romain Bardet & James Shaw also crashed and had to abandon. I didn't actually see the finish but 2 Media Motos have been banned from tomorrow's stage after they obstructed Pogacar near the the top of the Col de Joux Plane.

To quote Greavesy, it's a funny old game Wink
Hopefully that camera photographer impeding Pogacar doesn't have impact on who wins the race!
Stage 15 is a 179 km mountain stage between Les Gets Les Portes Du Soleil to Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc

There would be more of an impact if they weren’t there, the race wouldn’t exist without the media coverage. The top riders should take a look at the lifestyles they have and realise that shit occasionally happens.

I mean FFS Rolleyes
Stage 15 was won by Dutchman Wout Poels.
Yellow jersey Jonas Vingegaard maintained his 10-second lead on Tadej Pogacar.

It's a rest day tomorrow.
