17 years since England last visited Pakistan. First up, 7 T20I, as part of their warm-up for the World Cup in October. In December they return to play 3 Tests.
Engand XI - P Salt (w), A Hales, D Malan, B Duckett, H Brook, M Ali ©, S Curran, D Willey, A Rashid, L Wood, R Gleeson
Good 6 wicket win for England. Hales back to his batting best.
^^ Watched quite a lot of Hales since he's been dropped by England, in different comps around the world, I always thought that he was looking to dominate in the past, but now he assesses the situation much better. He took responsibility to try & bat most of the overs, & found the right tempo.
Brook showed what he is capable of & could give the selectors a headache in the world cup if he has a good series. Buttler, Stokes, & Livingstone will come back in, so it will be hard.
Luke Wood made an impressive debut & isn't even in the squad for the world cup, although that could change with bowlers still unfit.

Pakistan v England 3rd ODI - Karachi (15.30 BST)

Pakistan 158-8 Masood 66 no Khushdii 29 M Wood 3-25 Rashid 2-32
England won by 63 runs
Pakistan are unchanged, England give Jacks a debut, as Hales is rested, Topley & Mark Wood, replace Willey & Luke Wood.
A welcome return for Topley and Mark Wood as the England bowling was mauled in the last test. Hales has played well in the last couple of matches.
England showed signs of learning quite a bit from the 2nd T20 and produced a very fine all round display in match three. Impressed.
