Well the philosophy was declared before the start. Risk losing in attempts to win.

If they lose the question will be whether they stick to their guns and keep doing the same.

My gut tells me they will keep rolling the dice and risk the consequences.
Brave but there seems to be a determination to stick to principles.
Live by the sword - Die by the sword.
It certainly won't be dull Wink.

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS.
GET IN!!

England win by 74 runs.

Big Grin
I see that Bazball cricket has won yet again.Smile

England fully deserve their no1 spot in the World ranking.
Anderson and Robinson were simply outstanding in that final innings.
What an effort by everyone overall too.

Has to rank as one of the outstanding victories in English test cricket history.
Brilliant performance to get a result such as this in Pakistan....
I think we can safely say the players have earned and will need every last hour of the next 3 days recovery time for the next test in Multan.

The win was sealed with minutes to spare before bad light could intervene.
The light doesn't half fade quickly.
Blimey eek.
Epic win, pulled off with the umpires poised to call time within minutes in fading light. So many heroes, Stokes for his bravery, inventive field-placings, & another of his long bowling spells. Anderson the GOAT, Robinson's newfound fitness added to his undoubted skill. Pope kept going as a reserve keeper, despite a few drops, he pulled off a stunner. Jacks 1st innings 6 wicket haul & 40 overs for a part-timer. Leach toiled & finally got his reward.
Finally, Brook who I've been banging on about here for some time, showing everyone what a special talent he has.
Ollie Pope will keep the gloves in Multan with the only change seeing Mark Wood replace Liam Livingstone in the England team for the second test.
I wonder what fun and entertaining cricket will be provided in the second test still getting my breath back from the first test
