It wasn't their intention that it would reduce their customer base. Not in the long run anyway. The departure from the Firestorm platform was intended to be temporary whilst they worked on their new site to make it compatible with Firestorm streams. Unfortunately because the site launch was accompanied by a host of glitches it meant they had to spend ages trying to fix things, or iron out the creases as they put it, rather than develop their streaming capabilities. But they did always intend to return to the Firestorm platform and to be shown on other sites too such as this forum. Gallery has stated a number of times that they have always intended that their streams would return to the forum.

It's not for sale. You can rent it though at £48 a year - per square foot.

Why didn't they do the work to make it compatible before they launched it?

Actually not true. Many of the S66 girls are streaming from a mobile now, including at least 2 who used to be studio girls.

It's a good question, but the site was launched with a lot of work not done and many features unavailable. It wasn't just the work required on the streaming which hadn't been done but a great deal of other work too. In the early stages clicking on several of the options just returned a 'coming soon' message.

I've often wondered myself why the site was launched in the state it was. For example, girls were supposed to be able to upload their own images and videos, but it's only just recently that they have been able to use that function. For a long time it was just coming soon, and 'soon' turned out to be many months.

But not only were some parts of the site not present at all, even the parts of the site that did work weren't properly ready and didn't work that well in the beginning. Even though they claimed to have tested the site it was initially full of glitches and even crashed a few times early on which they had to keep on apologising for.

So I don't know the answer to your question, but the best thing I can think of is simply that they appear to have launched the site in a big hurry, leaving much of the work unfinished. Why they would have been in such a great big hurry I really don't know. I wish I could give you a better answer.

How is streaming from a mobile at home free of electricity, lighting and heating costs?

To have any acceptable degree of technical and operating standards that punters will pay for, a babe will need home studio lighting which is the right temperature and stable, and of course the "creator" herself needs to be warm. Girls who are shivering with cold tend not to be dressed in next to nothing and acting sexy. Then there's the fibre/data fees. A phone used as a streaming camera really doesn 't cut it for any length of time beyond a "short". The initial Capex on cameras, lighting, tripods and booms and mics is not to be sniffed at.

The question is for girls now: "Why, if I have got to bear the burden of making my own home studio, should I stay with 66 and not go to another platform(s)? What do S66 offer me now that CB/MFC/AW et al don't...apart from minuscule audiences?

I'm sure that's a question that many of the girls may be asking themselves this morning or will be asking themselves.

It probably is something S66 probably will never be able to give us straight answer to, but to me another theory would be that they set themselves such an ambitious re - launch target that come re - launch day they realised they couldn't meet it and re - launched the site in the state as it was.
Whoever it was re - desiging the site probably had a fix list so long (And one that is still worke on constantly) that they was probably up all hours trying to get things ready but simply the fix list was so extensive and over ambitious to finish get the site ready on time.
Even now, I'm sure there many of us will say the site id far from the finished article and there are parts of it that still suffer glitches that have to be constantly fixed, but surely they should have done serious beta testing through out the re - design and left the old one running until they ironed out glitches, but overall onn this question, i'd say that time probably was their biggest enemy they couldn't defeat.
