Cameron Norrie got a big 5 sets win over some seeded guy.

Overshadowing Kyle Edmund winning in 4 sets.

Andy Murray starts today, I guess.
Murray maybe gave it his all in winning a decider when he was close to losing in straight sets.

Konta beat Watson.

Serena Williams won comfortably enough. Osaka and Muguruza among the other ladies through.
Seems only his toes that took a battering in his epic 5th set win for Murray so he should be ok for next round against Auger Aliassime

With Dan Evans, Can Norrie and Kyle Edmund also through it is first time since 1974 to have 4 British men into the 2nd round at US Open

Watson had 3 set points in first set tie break against Konta but Konta came back to win it and win the second set 6-1.
Yeah Cameron came from 2 sets down to beat Schartwzmann

Venus Williams lost her 1st round match.
Cam Norrie won his second round match in straight sets but Kyle Edmund lost in 4 sets to Novak Djokovic
Kvitova and Kerber and others got through, though the news was about the women's seeds who got beat.

Norrie did very well.
Murray got beat.

Konta got beat too.

Muguruza lost 'n all.
So that makes Norrie the only Brit left in singles - Typical

Murray getting beaten probably is a surprised but when you think he hasn't played much tennis for a good few months

Evans still left as well.

Murray I suspect used up a lot in winning his first match.
