Yeah, I just saw it cross-referenced without it being referred to in the first place. Given the made-up nature of the sport, I don't see it as that serious of an issue.
Watch every week far prefer it to wwe, as full of stars from the indie seen I have watched for years, plus like the high pace gymnastics matches ,
So going to try and give a review of dynamite each week,

First match this week was Cody v Ortiz , this was a better match than I expected given how little Ortiz has been in singles match, it was a sort of ground and pound type match, both showed good skill with proper wrestling moves, not to much interference, was an entertaining win for Cody which he really needed after lose on ppv again, at the end the inner circle Jericho and his boys where shown standing over a blood covered Nick Jackson he really must have messed him self up in the ppv if he needs a few weeks off, interesting there was Lance Archer at ringside who has done good things around the world and looks like will be next for Cody which could be good watch in a few weeks time,

Next was the woman match, and it was really bad, the aew woman devision is a mess and aew week point,
It was nyla rose and Bea Priestley her first match of the year, v Kris statlamder and hikaro shida , wise to try to keep the truly bad nyla out the ring just a shame this ment asking Bea to carry her half of the match someone she's just not good enough to do she fucked up almost every move she did, felt sorry for Kris and hikaro as they had to keep covering for her best they could but it killed the match the crowd didn't want to watch, at the e d nyla was let in to do her 2 finishing moves on hikaro and get a win nothing about the match was good nyla is such a limited poor wrestler how is she champ they clearly gave her the belt just because she's built like a man lol it's see booking from the bad days just give the belt to who ever is biggest,

Next things picked up with a really good old schtick 6 man tag,
The butcher and blade teaming with MJF v Jurassic express,
This was a really good match l 6 have worked really well before and they did again, everyone got good ring time did lots of good moves , it looked like it could go anyway which had everyone watching really into it , in the end the bunny in a very sexy new outfit distracted the ref so MJF could chest and get the win, he really is the best heal in wrestling at the moment, no one looked a loser at the end though a good match for everyone butcher and blade needed the win but Jurassic express still left looking strong,

Next the weekly shit boring interview between Tony and Britt Baker, these are so bad I get they are trying to turn her into the main woman heal but it's not working she just comes over as total cring and on one in the crowd is bothered just wanting it over so there night can continue, this heal turn is not working, at the end they set up a match with big swole it could be ok but don't see it being anything more that filla ,

Next was my match of the night , it was jobbers Joey Janel's and private party v the new team of Rey fenix, pertagon and PAC, I was expecting a short easy win for the new team all who have been in big matches of late but the jobbers where allowed to show that they are actually really good and bossed most of the match, that was Janela best night in aew, he looked a star for once, it was a master class in gymnastics wrestling so many high risk big moves from. Everyone I loved the action so exciting to watch, in the end the new team won and like good heals beat up private party after the bell before the best friend s came out to make the save, orange Cassidy walked slowly but so cooly to the ring for the biggest pop of the night he is so over, I think the best friends and death triangle are going to have a look forward fude which I look forward to,

The main event was Sammy and Jericho who are now randomly ranked the number 5 tag team, v Dustin Rhodes and man of the moment Adam page,
It was a great match lots of action everyone hitting big moves a d selling them well, it ended with the hangman fitting his excellent buckshot finishing move on Sammy for the win,

After the win the inner circle distorted them and everyone who came out to help, ended with there arms raised looking so powerful it's not clear who will beat them,

A night for the heals but lots of good stuff, settings up the new fuids after the last ones got settled on the ppv the week before,
Still think they need an intercontinental belt for the likes of PAC and hangman to go for as they are a bit to good to be in aew very full tag ranks, New York next week so exciting them to pull out all the stops,
Is there a show without audience this week?
bit late been busy, they did a show without anyone there was a shame as was one of the best shows they put on in ages all the matches where good plus to new stars where relieved,
first match was Lucha Bros v Best Friends was a good match they work well together, best friends are really coming on as a team, the Lucha bros won thanks to a low blow setting up a street fight next week,

next was a 4 way womans match and for once it was very good, Hikaru Shida (ranked #1) vs. Riho (ranked #2) vs. Kris Statlander (ranked #3) vs. Penelope Ford, good to see Penelope getting the push she has deserved at long last her ring outfit is so sexy, all the girls where good working with each other did lots of big moves, most working well, only one big mistake Penelope went for the head scissors on Kris and some how totally missed her sliding off her shoulder and hitting the ring hard, she was in pain but kept going on, Hikaru won and continued her push to the belt, at the end , Colt Cabana and “Superbad” Kip Sabian had a set to setting up a match between them,

next was Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy) vs. The Butcher & The Blade as always they did a great match they work so well together lots of great action big moves the match went both ways , Jurassic express won in a classic baby face comeback win, both teams looked good at the end i expect more matches between them,

next the Exalted One was finally revealed after weeks of build up and it was ex WWE star Luke Harper now called Brodie Lee, shame there was no one there to pop, hes a good fit for what they want so look forward to seeing him in a match soon,

next was The Inner Circle (“Big Hurt” Jake Hager, Santana and Ortiz, accompanied by “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara) vs. The Elite (“The American Nightmare” Cody, accompanied by Arn Anderson, Matt Jackson, and “Hangman” Adam Page, with Kenny Omega at his side)—with the winning team earning the advantage at Blood & Guts, it was a good match full of action every one hitting big moves , the inner circle won a good match , after the match Jericho cut a great promo about how the inner circle are going to run aew from now on, but was stopped in his tracks when MATT HARDY made is debut , damn i wish the crowd there to give him the pop
this weeks show was from the same empty location as last week but this time with no wrestlers around the ring, it seamed a lot of the staff and wrestlers couldn't make it in and they just did the show with who made it in, Cody and Kenny Omega did the
commentary,

first match was Cody vs. Englands Jimmy Havoc having his first tv match of the year, he has been winning on the AEW dark webshow so i guess he was the best choice of those who where there, it was a good match better than expected, it was a was a clash of styles so was more just a set of spots but they both hit them all Cody won as he had to but Jimmy showed he is more than just a hardcore guy who can take a beating, i would hope AEW start using him proper as they have wasted him so far,
after the match Jake the snake Roberts cut a excellent promo on Cody and got his man Archer his first match next week,

match 2 was Darby Allin vs the other English up and comer Kip Sabian, to really good young wrestlers who had a good first match together, it was a very even match with both hitting big moves , Penelope got involved as always but Allin won with his new finishing move called The Last Supper in reality one of the oldest moves in wrestling the gibson leglock he did it well, Allin looks on his way to the top Cody on commentary said he was like a young Sting, Kip looks like he needs more TV time a few tv matches with Colt Cabana will do him good,

match 3 was Jake Hager v some local indie wrestler, Hager destroyed him in no time at all, but after the match Jon Moxley ran in and hit is finisher on Hager but Hager got over it and put the ankle lock on but Mox got out of it and chased Hager from the ring, looks like Hager v Mox is on for the future, i think its to soon a Mox is not going to drop the title yet and people still see Moxley as his former self Jack Swagger, they would have been better having Hager in matches against other faces to build him up to the top level, i guess it shows the problem AEW has in getting good heels to the top

match 4 was QT Marshall vs. Brodie Lee, not a great match for Brodie first match in AEW he did what he had to in an old school squash match, Brodie looks so interesting as this new lead heel character he can do so much in AEW i look forward to it never know who WWE didnt book him like this,

the main event was Kenny Omega vs. Sammy Guevara for the very important AAA Mega Championship for the Mexican wrestling company, Kenny is there champion at the moment, this was a great match, one of the best on AEW so far both where amazing hitting so many big moves, it was everything a championship match should be and Sammy best ever match in AEW, Kenny won as expected,

the last thing of the night was Matt Hardy Confronting Chris Jericho,
it started with one of the funniest things i seen in ages Jericho cutting a promo on a drown Vanguard 1 try to get it to join the inner circle it didnt work and it fly off lol,
then Broken Matt Hardy appeared in the ring by magic teleported around the arena, when he got there Hardy called himself Damascus and said he over 3,000 years old, i loved the broken Matt in TNA so happy hes doing it again, i bet people who have only seen him in wwe didnt have a clue what was going on, Jericho tryed to get him to join the inner circle but Hardy responded with his trademark deletes catchphrase, it ended with Hardy putting Jericho down with one punch before Sammy attacked him from behind and beat him up before Cody and Omega came over and made the save, was a very fun introduction to broken Matt for anyone new to this and showed again why Jericho is the best promo man in wrestling, the one thing i dont get is how they will get broken Matt to work on live tv as the prerecorded TNA was perfect for TV tricks to make him look like he really could do magic

there where no matches talked about for next week i guess it will depend again on who makes it in,

Wrestling Daft Podcast:

Interview starts about 34 minutes in

Really interesting interview with Chris Jericho back in late October about AEW amongst other things
this weeks show started with a real big announcement in that AEW are finally going to have a 2nd singles belt, it going to be the TNT TV title, think thats the first time there has been a TV title on a big promotion since the days of ECW, its going to be
Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears
Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara
Dustin Rhodes vs. Kip Sabian
Colt Cabana vs. Lance Archer
not all the big names but some up and comers who could do will with the belt, i think its to early for Shawn, Kip and Colt, where as Cody, Dustin and Lance all have other things going on that dont need a belt, so hopeful of a Darby v Sammy final would be happy with ever winning we will see what happens,

the first match was Kenny Omega v Trent, it was a strange match as they have never do anything together before and it was a really hard hitting match like you normally only get on a ppv to end a big fude , we where told that they had big matches in Japan and that set this up but was still strange to watch plus both made mistakes not there usual level, it was really just filler and move on, the timing was off for the match and they nearly ran over the 20min limit,

match 2 was Hikaru Shida v Anna Jay, this was really good one of the best woman match i have seen on AEW Hikaru is by far the best woman in AEW, her push to the woman belt continued she looked a star against Anna who was making her debut but looked very good and did some good moves, Britt Baker was ring side talking trash at Hikaru and i think they are going to have a fude next, with Nyla Rose missing the womans division looks a lot better, Hikaru getting stuck in the USA has done good for her career,

match 3 was Lance Archer v Marko Stunt, Lance making his debut it was better than expected i think he did some big moves on Marko and looked like an unstoppable beast, i think he is going to the top on AEW be interesting to see how he goes next week against a great wrestler in Cabana

match 4 was The Natural Nightmares vs. The Dark Order, this is a new team of Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall, managed by Brandi Rhodes, the nightmares looked good as they destroyed number 8 and number 9 from the dark order, they dont have names anymore, after the match The Exalted On Brodie Lee beat up number 8 for losing the match,

the main event was Cody and Darby Allin v Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears, was god match they all worked well together, first time i have see Spears in ages in the ring he still got some good moves, Darby did some big moves he climbed into the roof and did the coffin drop to the floor taking out Sammy and Shawn, lots of other big moves for both teams before Sammy and Shawn won a good match both needed the win , after Darby who was upset losing the match punched Cody out setting up there match for next week,

a good week again moving to a very small studio and having a few wrestlers around the ring to make some noise helped things,
great news The Revival have left wwe and are heading to AEW to hopefully have there dream match with Young Bucks, thats been years in the making and i think could be a huge headline PPV match
this weeks show started with Lance Archer v some random Jobber, as last week Lance distory the small guy he was against, not much happened in a quick match, it made Lance look like a monster in very old school booking that would have been right at home on the 80's, he needs to fight better people to move him on i think,

match 2 was Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida this was the best match of the night i think, it started normal enough but then Hikaru messed up a head scissors and ended up putting her knee into Britt face hard , nearly knocking her out and busting her nose a huge amount of blood over her face, the ref took over and told Hikaru to hit a drop on her so that a early pin could end the match if need this gave Britt a few seconds to get her head together and she said she wanted to go on, the match was now very interesting as it was being worked out on the fly, Britt was such a pro she found the camers and did a great close up of her face covered in blood i have never seen a womans match like this on a main stream show, Hikaru ended it with a really hard running knee that nearly knocked Britt out the ring, it was very impressive from Britt she one tough woman to finish the match like that, she looked more dangerous as a heel than ever before and both women looked good at the end of it,

match 3 was Best Friends v Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa
this was a fun comedy match, both teams hitting lots of big fun comedy moves, Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa did the long time Japanese tag team routeen it was fun to watch, the best friends won,

match 4 was Brodie Lee v Another Jobber, basically see match 1 as it was a repeat except it didnt make any sense as we all seen him in wwe so there is no need to show him like this, all a bit pointless really,

match 5 was the Cody v Shawn Spears in the first match to fined the new TV champion, they have know each other a long time and have great chemistry making a very good match, there was lots of big moves the match was all over the arena, Cody went through a table, in the end Cody won a good match that made both look good,

it was a funny night matches 2 and 5 where really good, Match 3 was fun if you like comedy match but you do need to be into that and have some idea what the 4 had done in japan, match 1 and 4 where a bit pointless, so a bit all over the place really, they need to be putting a bit more though into the mid card to make things as good as the top levels stars,
match 1 , the latest round in the matches to crown the first TV champion was Colt Cabana v Lance Archer, this was better from Archer against a good pro in Colt the match was still a little one sided and it would have been better if Archer had sold things a bit more, but he looked more like the top pro her was in japan, its right to see Archer go through to the next round,

match 2 was Britt Baker v a jobber, this was an old school squash match, it let Baker have the win she needed after the bloody beating she had last week and let her look like the number 1 female heel again, so a good mate that did what it should,

match 3 Sammy Guevara v Suge D a jobber who has been at ring side the last few weeks, it was good to see Sammy win a solo match and he needed it after a few to many loses, not a lot happened in the match and it went to long, but it did a job, not the best i have seen,

match 4 Chuck Taylor v Kip Sabian this was my fave match of the night, there was a lot going on with lots of big moves, lovely Penelope Ford did her usual detracting by showing off her big boobs in a very small outfit, add help come from fellow Brit Jimmy Havoc who was at ring side watching and we where told they where best friends for the first time, Jimmy knocked out Orange Cassidy this distracted the ref and Penelope was able to jump off the top rope and hit Chuck letting Kip get the win,
was an old school heel cheating to win match, Kip needed this win as hes being pushed to be the number 2 heel and just like the match before has lost a few to many, was a lot to like, i hope Jimmy keeps being used like this or that was a bit silly,

match 5 was Shawn Spears v a very green jobber, this was like match 2 but very well done Spears is a great pro he had the newbie look like he could win so when Spears won it felt like a much better win than it was, i hope Spears keeps being used every week once things are back to normal,

the main event was Jon Moxley vs. Jake Hager for the AEW Championship, it was ok match but not a great match, it didn't feel like a PPV level match, Mox decided he could wrestle as good as Jake and it made the match a bit slow and lacking in the big spots that AEW is known for, Jake showed that he only has one pace and this didn't help Mox as he couldn't do his normal fast paced moves, the finish was strange Mox DDT jake into a chair out of no where and got the win, sad to see as it made Jake not look like PPV level, so all the build up to make Jake look a star was wasted, i think Mox really need the fans back as he needs that interaction,

so a funny week some good some forgettable
