Using the ‘African Patas monkey’ style, 37-year-old Takashi Kokubu set a new Guinness World Record for running a four-legged 100 meter race in Tokyo. He clocked in at 16.87 seconds.
Runners dressed in inflatable Sumo costumes claimed the new world record for a mass Sumo Suit gathering at a run in London in June 2010.
With a free-falling angle of 121 degrees, the ‘Takabisha’ roller coaster is the Guinness World Records holder of the world’s steepest roller coaster. It is located at the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park near Tokyo.
Ever wondered why the Gopher in the original Winnie the Pooh cartoon kept saying "i'm not in the book you know!" - well it is pretty obvious although as kids we didn't cotton on to it until later. There are no gophers in this country so when Disney made the film for some reason it added a gopher, but laboured the point that there was no gopher in the original book. I am still not sure why they bothered but hey ho, that's Disney for you, they always take liberties with anything British written.

Now this sort of thing might well occur in my new thread coming soon to this particular thread. It will deal with all thing cartoon but will be different because not only will be a place for fun facts and trivia but it will also be a place where someone can ask a question about a cartoon and I or one of you can answer it. Should be rolled out soon, so watch this space and yes if you want to add a video example that will be fine but keep it smaller to avoid pushing someone else's post up or off the page.

This act entered the Guinness World record for the largest number of people skinny-dipping together which was organized to raise fund for the children's cancer charity 'Aoibheann's Pink Tie'
this kinda sums up my thoughts on the large existential things like reality and the universe. not fact but could be classed as trivia, and definitely fascinating. imo. Smile
