Happy Days facts: all from memory.
Did you know the Smithsonian Institute in the good old USof A has the original leather jacket that belonged to Henry Winkler, who played Arthur 'The Fonz' Fonzarelli in Happy Days and that Robin Williams first played Mork the alien in a cameo appearance in that show during a bizarre dream sequence. This was so popular that he got his own show Mork and Mindy. Another spin off was Laverne and Shirley which featured two of Fonzie's girl friends that worked for a bottling company. Another one was Joanie Loves Chachi, which featured Erin Moran and Scott Baio's characters and how they get on a couple.

In the early 80's Hanna-Barbera made a cartoon series called 'The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang' which featured Ron, Henry and Donnie Most(Ralph Malph) reprising their roles travelling through time and space in a spaceship thanks to botch ups by a lovely alien girl called Cupcake(Didi Conn from Grease) and the most annoying idiotic dog Mr Cool.

Before 2004, if you stood on Platform 3 at Wolverhampton High Level station, there wasn't a higher point between you and the Ural mountains.

During the late 70's - early 80s, when I was a postie and worked nights, part of my shift entailed servicing the Travelling Post Offices, (mail sorting trains).
Two came through W'ton, one northbound and one southbound.
This southbound one (the Up Special), bound for London Euston, came through at about 02:00 hrs or thereabouts, and stopped on Plat 3.

Even on an August night at 2 in the morning, it was abnormally chilly.
The old timers would always remark, that there's nothing between here and the Urals.

This all changed in 2004, when another platform was built on the eastern edge of the station.

Cheers GreenMachine, mine's a pint.
Your post reminded me of that great comedy actor Freddie Frinton, whose many roles often included playing a drunk, and by 'eck he didn't half play 'em well, despite being a complete teetotaller.
