Thank heavens. Ronnie shows his skills and defeats Mr Arrogance.
Apologies. Not a fan of Murphy.
Carter beat Allen 6-3 to reach the final.
Not a great quality of play in all honesty but once again the player making the fewest unforced errors won the match.

I've had to change channel while Murphy is showing his true cuntmanship.
Any attention he's getting ....makes him even worse.annoyed
Ronnie removed Hawkins and Murphy, so here's hoping for a hat-trick Smile
what did he say at the start heard it wasnt very nice
BBC did a nice tribute piece in the interval tonight; reminded me of watching the '97 final and also in '98. Notable the number of finalists who otherwise aren't considered "greats" eg Fergal O'Brien and Stephen Lee (oops).

Also startling to see Selby won in 2008, as I rather developed the idea that his World titles came out of nowhere.
Fookin legend Ronnie the rocket takes the title.
Fantastic 10-7 win for Ronnie! Carter was ahead for most of the match but trying to keep his lead over the course of a 19 frame match with Ronnie potting so well proved too much for him. Carter had his chance to go 8-7 up and stop Ronnie taking the lead, and he fluffed it. He never got a look in after that as trying to match Ronnie's standard of play proved too difficult.

That's Ronnie's record breaking 8th Masters title, and at the age of 48 he now his his first chance of winning the Triple Crown in one season. He's won the UK Championship, he's won the Masters, just the World Championship to go.
The symmetric season 8 time hat-trick is on. The game face O' Sullivan turned up tonight and was prepared to fight tooth and nail for every frame. For me that made the difference and Carter eventually crumbled to lose seven out the last eight frames.
