It was painful to watch at times how below par Judd was playing, but he did come back from 4-2 down to lead 5-4, and he did get a 129 break along the way. However he fluffed up his big chance to put the 10th frame beyond Carter and Carter duly cleared to set up a decider. A 64 break by Carter in the decider put paid to Judd's chances of regaining the Masters.
147 alert.
Mark Allen this time.

Masters Maximum Overload.
I managed to see the latter half of the break, which was worth it.
Selby went into a 4-1 lead.
Allen then rattled off four straight frames to go 5-4 up before The Jester levelled to send it to a decider. Both players had chances to win it but the Northern Irishman prevailed in the end to win a topsy turvy clash 6-5.
A thought for the referee Desislava Bozhilova.
It was the second maximum break she had officiated for in the same week of a major.
She is on a hat-trick.
Oh, I think I can spare far more than one thought for the stunning Desislava Heart
Hopefully, O'Sullivan v Allen.

Less so, Murphy v Carter.
A fantastic 6-2 victory for Ronnie over his nemesis Tubs Murphy! Tubs got a 131 break in his only frame before the interval. After the interval Tubs got another century break to trail 2-3, but Ronnie was dominant in the last 3 frames, only letting Tubs score 9 points.
All about unforced errors for me that match.
Murphy made more of them and at crucial moments hence the scoreline.
Ronnie made less serious errors and had a better all round game.

Allen v Carter should be closer but the Northern Irishman will need to more clinical than he has been so far if he is to win.
Tubs claims to be a student of the game, so will have had mixed feelings in watching himself get drubbed off the table in the latter frames.
