As per an earlier post, 'fake' 16:9 = 4:3 broadcast with a 16:9 switching signal, resulting in a hideously distorted picture that needs to be set, manually, to 4:3, just as PP used to be, and BS was last night.
Jeezo, it's difficult keeping up wth Cellcast's incompetence, it's now back to 16F16!
Earlier, when Sammi & Ella were outside? (or somewhere other than the normal bed), it was 'fake' 16:9 - perhaps they didn't have enough widescreen cameras on hand, so this was shot 4:3? Last night, though, when Daryl was on the stairs, it was OK, so probably just incompetence, I guess.
With reference to the ‘email sent via official channels to Cellcast’ about the broadcast problems, is there any chance of something similar being sent regarding the sanitised, BS & PL Lite shows that Freeviewers are ‘subjected’ to, asking when, or even if, we are going to see an end to it?
I‘m guessing that they probably wouldn’t give an answer, as they want people to keep watching, in the hope of some improvement, but, worth a try?
Nope. I'm pretty sure I've got a proper 16:9 picture.
They're obviously determined to keep up the censorship. Normally as each girl comes to the end of a section there's a promo of her pictures. Poor Camilla's pics are still not being shown so she had to suffer the indignity of Jodie's pics being shown instead.

Here's an interesting sentence I've just found in an Ofcom document:
People invest in Freeview equipment to access particular free content, and the value of the investment is reduced when that free content is reduced.

Oh, and they seem to have turned most of the lights off.
I suppose 'fake' isn't really the right word (unless viewers follow Paige's advice
) but I don't have a better alternative.
The obvious conclusion from all this is that they have facilities for only two genuine 16:9 (or 16F16 if you like) channels at any given time. About time they spent some of that phone dosh methinks.

Hi there. At last; I only had a quich (fast-forward0 look at last nights show but it looks like a decent picture. Hooray!!! So now we need them (Cellcast) to get the show more equal to that shown on Sky: Camilla (or the other girls) obviously disnt use the cream after Freeview came on unless I missed it! Why not; it always happened on Party Girls. BUT wasnt Lynsey GREAT; almost as good as she was on Party Girls. Hopefully things will continue to improve albeit slowly. How long before we get "our show"!!!!
Have a care with the celebrations - spare a thought for what the poor old PP viewers have had to put up with. The Ch 33 improvement seems to have been done at the expense of Ch 32.
Camilla was very tame throughout the show, as were the others in my opinion. I was logged into TVAlways as usual. You should have seen the transformation in her performance when she came back to do the final half hour after the Freeview 5am shutdown!
Cellcast should be thoroughly bloody ashamed of themselves. They take the same money from customers who call during FV time and have to put up with making their call while seeing a girl just lying on a bed not doing a lot as they do from customers who call outside FV time and are able to enjoy the sort of performance Camilla was putting on for that final period.
The whole thing stinks.

Everything now looks ok to me.
I thought last nights show was ok with Lynsey, Dani, Camilla and Jodie.
I enjoyed Dani getting on top of Lynsey and pulling her top down near the start of the show.
I'm not a Dani fan, but thought she looked quite good in the nurses outfit later on.
The girls chatting together on the mic was quite entertaining last night. They were all good at this.
We heard Camilla getting told off by somebody for describing the 3G service as "too rude for television".
Jodie kept describing the new widescreen transmission as sixteen point nine (inches?) until corrected by Camilla. When Jodie retires, she can probably get a job as a technical manager at Sky on picture transmission standards. She seems to know as much about it as they do.
I'm even more annoyed now! I've just looked at another thread where there was a video clip of Amanda (It had to be her did n't it!) going topless on Party People; quite discreet but definitely topless. Not only that but there is another clip from a few days ago again on Party People when there was a theme; Beach Babes. On this programme Toya was rubbing OIL or CREAM on Tiffany's front. This was fairly tame but it was obvious what was going on. WHY THE F..CK cant we have oil or cream on Freeview as Party People goes out on Freeview and I thought Babestation was "more risque" than Party People; the girls go topless isnt that "more adult"!!!!??? COME ON CELLCAST PLAY FAIR! So this time there is discrimination between two FREEVIEW channels. I'm sorry but I just dont understand.
