It's forum etiquette, you don't repost other peoples content without permission, as it means you get thanked for something that isn't yours. It's rude.
If you want to show your appreciation for their work, thank the post, maybe give the person a rep if you like a lot of their posts, you could even send them a PM saying you really liked what they've posted. If you want to make a post about it, you can, but don't quote posts/images, instead, put a link to their post (so they get well deserved thanks), you find these in the right corner of each post (Post: #185 is this one for example), click it, then in the address bar, the unique number for that post will appear, copy and paste that instead of quoting, and there will be no issue.
