Week 16 Results
Thank you to all who participated this weekend. I've decided to post the scores and the overall table as it stands after week 16. This is to save time later in the week, but also just in case the snowy weather decides to cause me considerable headaches with fixture postponements on Tuesday or Wednesday.
So a relatively low scoring round again with the top scoring players only getting 6 points. A pattern of this weekend seemed to be a real split in terms of results for the so called "big six" teams - some won (Man City and Spurs); some were held to draws (Arsenal and Liverpool) and some lost (Man United and Chelsea). These differing fortunes seemed to contribute to the scoring in the league, with people at the top losing ground and people further down gaining some ground.
So the top scorers were
babelover48,
dionnelover09,
Kingsmind,
love life and
ste-boro. There's a change again at the top of the overall leaderboard with
davetherave57 regaining pole position. However, the lead is just one point going in to what could be a very unpredictable midweek round.
Thank you to everyone who has posted their predictions for Tuesday and Wednesday so far. There's still time for anyone else who wants to play week 17 to post your scores. There's a few queries I need resolving though - so love life and SOCATOA, if you could both answer my questions so I'm clear of your prediction choices, I'd be most grateful.
Below are the results, the scores and the overall table for week 16. Click for larger images:-
Good luck for week 17. First fixture in this coming round starts at 7.45pm on Tuesday evening... weather permitting...
