Thanks to all who took part in week 7. It was another high scoring week in general from the whole league. The main story this week was that the chasing pack were able to make up ground on the leaders.

Charlemagne was the highest scoring player and eight other players also achieved more than one correct score. The leader by two points is still davetherave57. I am impressed with all players though and congratulations to all of you for making it a very competitive season so far. Smile

There's a break now with World Cup qualifiers next weekend, so no rush yet to post the fixtures for week 8. I'll make another post with the next fixtures closer to the date.

Thanks again to all that have played so far and I hope to see everyone back here for week 8. Smile
The pot is stirring nicely, still top by a meagre two points....i now have a bit of time to weigh up the form for week 8 Smile
I only got one correct score this week and you have me down for two.Blush

Ok thanks Unscarreduk, I've amended the scores on my spreadsheet and will make sure it's posted correctly next gameweek. Thanks for letting me know.
Something for next season... Bonus points for a (only one person got it right) correct score? "The person who predicted Chelsea 2 Burnley 3 on the opening day was a good example.
Scoring a point that nobody else does IS a bonus point.

What if somebody else came up with that scoreline? Which of course nobody did.
Twas only an idea!

People are free to post which ever score they want. I don't believe in rewarding certain scores more than others. There's been a few instances this season where people have predicted an unlikely score, and it's come true, but that doesn't in my opinion warrant extra points.

It's all in the luck of the score. In the real season Burnley never received an extra point for beating Chelsea 3-2. Wink
