Yeah, Scheffler has played it well so far. Tiger Woods has at least made the cut, and he pleased a few on Thursday.
Going to be fascinating last round I think
RIP TIGER WOODS!! Or at least that is what I thought when I tuned in from the MotoGP. It appeared for all the world that - if not the former, then he had announced his imminent retirement from the game! The overly exaggerated BS from the commentators when referring to how 'super human' Tiger had made it through 4 days was just unbelievable. Murray asking for the tissues to be passed around - truly pathetic!!

The leaderboard is suddenly looking a little tight at the top. Even ROARS has an outside shot??
You'd imagine Woods finished in the top 6 from the way he was treated, not the bottom 6.

Well done Scheffler for his 1st Major, and also Rory McIlroy for a valiant runner-up, probably the closest he'll ever get to Augusta glory. Also Shane Lowry, a creditable finish.
Incredible last round by Rory McIlroy in 64 shots.
It sets him up for the Open in July.
Maybe only one round, but, I have renewed hope that Rory can actual win a green jacket in the near future. For 3 days it was pretty tough conditions, one man played out of his skin. Scheffler carried all the momentum of 3 wins into the Masters. Rory played the week before, which he never does, & missed the cut.
Who would the smart money be on this week? and the chance a LIV player could win the Green Jacket?
Scottie Scheffler on paper looks to have a decent chance to defend his title on present form. But there are plenty of potential challengers. Would not rule out Corey Conners as an unheralded outside bet after his win at the Texas Valero Open last week.
Then of course we have all the LIV players to contend with who are free to play at The Augusta National.
Sandy Lyle's retiring this week/end.
He's using this years Augusta as his farewell.
