Think if it was anyone but palace he wouldn't have contemplated it.
All I have to say on this subject is well done Pardew. The way Newcastle and their supporters have treated this man has been atrocious. He had a dodgy start to the season and they called for his head yet Pardew stuck through it all and remained confident in his own ability to turn it around and turn it around he did.

You can't really blame the man, to be honest I think he would have jumped at any opportunity to leave the club, the fact that it's Palace which he is a former player of is purely coincidental as far as I'm concerned. Best of luck Pardew I hope it works out for you with a club more deserving of your managerial ability.
There was enough heart from us in the cup final but on the day not quite enough ability. Just couldn't quite make it. Refereeing decisions might have been better, but that's Clattenburg for you. But my main thought is look where we were just a few yeas ago and how far we've come. We nearly went bust not so long ago and now we've made the Premier League and for good measure the FA Cup final too. Chin up Palace fans!
Yes, we need to retain possession better, need more good final balls from our admittedly skilful wingers. Also stop
lumping the ball up to Gayle when he comes on
So we have sacked Alan Pardew. The timing seems strange to me. 6 Premier League wins in a year is the second worst total since the Premier League began, but if losing to Chelsea (who are top after all) meant the end for Pardew then why not do it after that match?
I would think Palace are idiots if they are contemplating offering the job to Big Sam

I wouldn't even offer it to him
Sam Allardyce has agreed to become new Crystal Palace manager on a two-and-a-half-year deal and has now become the first manager to take charge of 6 different clubs in the Premier League.
We are really rattling through managers aren't we? Frank de Boer has been sacked as Crystal Palace manager after 4 Premier League matches, the shortest ever Premier League managerial tenure in terms of games played. Media reports say that Roy Hodgson is set to take over.
If Hodgson has got the gig as expected & reported then Palace are doomed!! lol
My favourite club is a complete car crash
