There should have been 2 penalties for Crystal Palace. You have to say Sunderland rode their luck in winning that match, although you have to say also that Palace were poor defensively.
I am slightly worried about this season, I don't even think a big transfer kitty would do anything for the club. I admire the way Parish has come in and turned the clubs fortunes away, but letting Pulis leave was incredibly short sighted. We were doomed from day one.
Oh well, cheaper tickets next season.

Doomed are we? Today Palace fight back from 1-0 down to beat Liverpool 3-1 thanks to goals from Gayle, Ledley and Jedeinak. I think any Palace fan has got to be happy with that performance as well as the result and I'm sure Neil Warnock is. It's still going to be a tough season but on today's showing we're a long way from being doomed.
To be fair, any team can beat us at the minute, I think we made you look better than you are though. Still I thank you for beating us, hopefully it helps towards seeing the last of Brendan 'the fraud' Rodgers..

To be honest, you're probably right. Leaving all those big gaps in your defence really helped us a lot.
"Merry Christmas Neil. Oh and your fired" bladewave

Neil Warnock has become the first Premier League manager to be sacked this season after being sacked by Crystal Palace.

He was only in charge of the club since August this year. Assistant manager Keith Millen will be in charge for the trip to Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.
The timing is no doubt due to the transfer window opening in a few days. If we were going to make a change it had to be now.
It looks like compensation has been agreed with Newcastle and Alan Pardew will soon be announced as the next Crystal Palace manager.
That will b a good appointment for you
Newcastle have confirmed that compensation has been agreed with Palace, but there's no statement from Palace as yet. I assume it will be done early on Wednesday because we have a match on Thursday.

I'm not surprised by Warnock going, because the resilience we had in the second half of last season has turned into some soft defending this season, but I have to admit I didn't see Pardew as being the next manager.
