just saw a tweet saying barca still want him if he apologises for latest incident and accepts anti biting clause in contract lmao! got to be a fake story surely laugh
I do think he should have received the maximum tenure of his ban as this was his third offence. If anything European football clubs should have turned his back on him and he should spend the rest of hi playing days in Uruguay. To me he got off too lightly and Liverpool have been unfairly punished because his actions occurred on international duty and not on club duty. As player he is a genius and skilful, but as a human being he is nothing more than a thug. I have yet to see him apologise to his victims which makes it worse.
Whether Chellini will drag him through the Italian courts for compensation remains to be seen.
FIFA had a chance to punish him severely and to many they have done so, but to others they have being way too lenient. Surely a third offence should have been more than enough to make the 2 year ban possible?
think it was a little harsh ok for months of matches is Fair but From all football means he cant even enter the liverpool stadium or even train with the liverpool team itself

part of the problem is he doesn't think hes done anything wrong or he wouldnt keep repeating it and when you have people defending him like the uruguayan f.a. then if they think he hasnt done anything wrong he will feel the same. Can you imagine if that was an english player who bit sum1 while playing for england the english f.a. would not defend the player. The english fans wouldnt defend the player either if it ends up costing them a chance of winning! We all remember beckham!

It is after all the THIRD offence.I'm sorry but while everybody deserves a second chance Suarez has already abused two chances and now has got away with a third. 12 Month ban from fotball should have been the absolute MINIMUM and a life ban is not out of the question. Second successive world cup he has ended in disgrace after the handball on the line against Ghana in 2010.

If there was a clear opportunity for FIFA to show they can be tough then that was it, Suarez has been treated like a naughty kid, but I wonder if there will be more media pressure placed on FIFA to make them increase the ban to the full 2 years.
I'd love to see Jeremy Kyle get his teeth into him!! (sorry for the pun!)
Yes we all remember how Beckham suffered, but I do think Suarez probably wouldn't get the same treatment back home in Uruguay as Beckham did here.

Well at least he's now got a nice long holiday to think about the consequences of his actions!!
Well 888 poker have dropped his sponsor deal, so I wonder if Adidas do the same. The bloke has issues full stop and is a liability, so if I were Brendan Rogers I'd get rid for as much money as possible. If it happened on a Sunday morning in the local park he'd have his teeth removed. The bloke is an excellent footballer but obviously has a few things missing upstairs.
I think he got off lightly after all it was a third offence. He will be back by November I wonder what the odds are on him doing it again before the end of next season ?
