Until the latest satellite information became available the media in Israel were busily promoting the idea that MH370 had been stolen and taken to Iran for later use as a weapon.

This is a good example - a report in The Times Of Israel blaming the whole thing on Iran and referring to the 2 Iranians onboard the plane who were travelling on stolen passports:

Now they have shifted the search area a little further north

The new search area is about 700 miles north which is not that little. What does that do to the existing satellite images of supposed debris - are they still valid? Japan was the latest to find such images, saying they had seen about 10 square floating objects up to 8 metres in length and 4 metres wide, which they said were "highly likely" to be from the plane.
It is getting more and more bizarre how can so many items be spotted by satellite but none found by the search teams ?
There's increasing emphasis on blaming the pilots, but what about the rest of the flight crew? They would have been able to access the cockpit but don't seem to be attracting much suspicion.
The black box is presumed to be on the ocean floor sending out pings, waiting to be found. I would think that the most sensitive equipment for finding it would be in a nuclear submarine, where listening capabilities are vitally important for their own protection. And they aren't affected by the bad weather in the South Seas.
The problem being, no country wants to admit where their subs are.

It's a good question to ask. I think it's because the items don't actually exist and are merely 'whitecaps' of ocean waves.

If you took a satellite picture above the sea in this picture you would probably see objects, but at sea level you can see the white areas are nothing more than waves.
New object spotted by New Zealand search plane today :

That's the most promising sighting I've seen so far and it's from a plane not a satellite, which means that it's a current image and not one taken several days ago which has only just come to light.

The day after flight MH370 went missing they were granted a patent on a method of manufacturing microchips for use in defence projects. The 4 people named in the patent as the inventors of the patented process all happened to on board the missing plane.

The technology those 4 people were working on was a way of making a standard aircraft stealthy. In other words they could take a plane that does not have a stealth capability and make it able to fly stealth.
