The next world cup (2018) is in Russia, can't see UEFA pulling out of it's own staged event.

"We should wonder if one day our game will be played on other planets. Why not? And then instead of a World Cup we would have an inter-planetary competition," Blatter said today.

I'd like to how he thinks it will work or doesn't he realise there aren't that many planets near enough to make it work. Has he forgotten how many light years there are involved in travelling?
Well he has just announced that he is going for re election next year so hopefully eufa will put someone up against him
That has certainly shown how corrupt FIFA now is if he is now going for re - election. I doubt UEFA would put up anyone against him as I doubt there would be many Confederations who would dare vote against Blatter. Besides the FBI report probably is one that wouldn't be welcomed by him. UEFA's position would be probably be weakened if they quit FIFA.

It doesn't matter how many planets there are close by or travelling, just proves what an idiot he is for even saying such a ridiculous thing at such a time...
