The best that we can hope for is a re-vote. Australia would be a good replacement.
I guess a re - vote would not involve England as far a I can remember our bid was only for 2018 not 2022. If they re - vote, they should only accept bids from countries who are genuinely interested and haven't hosted the finals before and who would be able to stage the finals witout disrputio regular league football and why can't that be Canada and make an exception and hold the Women's World Cup Final and the Men's World cup Final's there at the same time? I like Australia but then again there is the logistics of holding it there in their winter.

The UK isn't a member of FIFA - so couldn't possibly be chosen.
Oops, I meant England. That's automatic PC-ness for you Blush

Why not USA? They were runners up in the vote and therefore have more right than Australia.

So its slightly hotter than Manaus and Fortaleza? Not a good enough reason IMO especially considering the technology that will be used to keep the stadiums and surrounding areas cool.
If anyone should replace Qatar as the WC host, it should be the United States, I think they still have the highest average attendance of any World Cup!

Totally Agree, a place people from all over the world would like to go to, perfect conditions, and a growing league that would benefit a lot from the stadiums and fans visiting, also not had a world cup in that continent before.
Downside of Australia is that you'd need to get up very early in the morning to watch it.
early morning drinking! yay! Big Grin
I'm usually still awake late/ early morning, I wouldn't have many issues with it really, For many people who are at work in the afternoons would be better too
