Lanky, as I understand it this was a one-off for some maintenance. We'll see, but a professionally run outfit would have given a heads-up - in their own interest actually - so that people wouldn't assume the most likely explanation, a typical AC cock-up. Enjoyed the "OK, probably not." :-)
These ridiculously censored spicy shows just go on and on. If it ain't Jasmine and/or Amy, it ain't worth watching. Agree with Lanky that these are dark days (again).
And of course BS do not really care.
I suspect they treat AC like any other of their services by a 'Revenue Share' agreement. And little or no revenue - and they appear to be compounding this by not even having a steady broadcast stream for more than a few hours - means an end to the agreement just as they have done with other services.
Yet the mystery is why send in reps to Thailand to set up the cams etc in the knowledge that the broadcast service was going to be cut - by having 3 BS channels running during the day.
And AC will wonder where their pay-check is coming from. Go web only and it may happen but it seems that BS are preventing that since that will a) elimimate their cams and b) invalidate the potential switches to the service.
When I looked in earlier the Thai girls were an option. But would anyone phone if they could not see who they were calling. There seems to be no guarantee that the tv picture switches if an option is selected.
I have a feeling that the Babestation bosses genuinely believe that we leave whatever channel Asian Connections had just been broadcasting on, and that we're going to call the fake English girls while we wait for AC to return..
It's not even possible to rely on the scheduled listings on Sky or Freeview without BS encroaching on AC's official slot. And yet, broken promises aside, AC will be unable to break away from whatever contract that have with Babestation to look for a new outlet..
Whatever is going on is really a shame...Amy is putting on another wonderful show this morning, but she just isn't getting all the calls she normally got before all this intervention. Why isn't anyone smart enough to allow AC to prosper?
