^Nowadays, only Nana chooses not to show the odd nipple, but I believe that even if one girl gets that choice, they must all have been given the same job description. The Pervcam must have created more issues: AC can't MAKE a girl show even more, since they seem not to even know that the girls flash as much (or as little!) as they do.

To be honest, I'm still trying to figure how a Pervcam can even be introduced onto a heavily censored channel, unless it's just like the "back room of a massage parlour" arrangement. If it IS going to be one or the other, as you and wim have said, that's where Asian Connections becomes closer to "pay-per-view" than it's original concept.

My original point though was to simply take a few steps back from expecting partial nudity. I can just about still spend a few hours watching AC each day, enjoying the energy, the play, the interactions, and the individual characteristics of the girls.

^Fair enough, everything you've said. I agree that the Pervcam has introduced some contradictions that remain to be resolved. I am very unsure what to think about it; I understand how it is meant to increase revenue, their main concern, but it changes the dynamic of the channel so much, and in ways that I don't like, that I am not sure where this is leading - legality apart. For me, what is lost is the joy of speaking with a girl, chatting about whatever, instead of negotiating over seeing body parts. Learning proper English has been one of the benefits for the girls, and it seems that will suffer. And of course, as I've said before, the girls now have their attention divided between callers and computers. I still want a spicy tease segment, but I have always agreed with your point about enjoying how lovely the girls are any time of day.

^We don't often talk about what the girls get out of their work, and that was a very good way to offer a new insight into how the girls view what they do. So they take the job because they already speak English, however well. From what I've seen and heard, they genuinely enjoy chatting to English men. Mr Wong has said that the girls often leave to work as translators, but it's hard to believe that this would be their only reason for being on Asian Connections.

Being on TV. Putting on a performance. Being "somebody else" for a few hours. None of this prevents the girls from becoming disillusioned or simply bored eventually. For that reason, I only want to see them doing what they enjoy. If bossess or callers are going to put pressure on the girls to do things they're not comfortable with, that also goes against the original purpose of AC.

At the moment, the balance is just about right, 75 minutes out of a 9 hour shift to tease callers is not too much and no too little. It's at the beginning of the show, so as to encourage more callers through the day. We all know which girls carry that spicy part into the rest of the morning, and obviously this is something they don't have a problem with. So far, the Pervcam isn't pushed too far, but things are changing. Mr Wong said AC will get bigger sets, and I suspect that girls will disappear from view completely to perform on webcam.

There are encouraging things about what Mr Wong has said will be changing. He has never lost sight of the eventual goal of AC standing on it's own two feet, and the Pervcam perhaps needs at least SOME place in his plans if he's to generate the money to achieve that. While it looks like no girl is selling her soul for AC, it worries me that we may never know when that changes. Historically, AC has not really shown that it looks after it's girls. All of this, from bosses to pushy callers to new devices, is reason enough to take nothing for granted. Just enjoy what we actually ARE given and to always be aware of what our Thai girls want from us.

Jasmine and Amy are the only two girls on the roster who are guaranteed to deliver a spicy show every time, if that makes her robotic, then I wish all of the other girls would follow her lead. Mr. Wong, if you are reading can you please convince your associates to hire some new girls who will perform like Jasmine and Amy! The rest are far too tame..zzzzzz.

Meanwhile, both Balloon and Lisa both appeared doing solo shows yesterday evening:



Great to see them, although the cam-show format with its pokey screen dimensions and cooped-up room space does them no favours; likewise the jerky, inconsistent frame-rate. Really, really wish that one or other of these could be persuaded to return to the show, with the decent studio camera and the space to move and pose in. They were both consistently excellent performers.

I too would love to see either or both of these lovely performers back on AC. But I suspect that the prospect of better money, working at home, and not having to hassle with the AC management was enough to lure them away. Balloon left before I really started watching AC, but Lisa was a favorite and imho the prettiest kathoey I've ever seen.

Amy gives another sexy, entertaining tease show on AC this morning! Yay! Nancy remains an enigma. She resolutely refuses to show anything or to play along with Amy; seems unhappy. Don't know what's up with her, but it's a shame because the amazing shows of July and August by this gorgeous lady were among the highlights of the year!
