Well looks like it`s a quiet afternoon for me with City`s game at Pompey called of at just before 10.30 this morning. Feel for the City fans making the journey down there as they would have to turn back being probably half way there.
As for the footballing side it is IMO a good thing as we are without Wright-Philips,Ireland,Robinho doubtful together with long term absentees` Petrov,Johnson and Bojinov. An enforced little midseason break may do the players good as City`s competative season started way back on 17th July.
In this modern age do you think that with all the money swishing about in Premiership football that all clubs in the top flight should be capable of fulfilling all scheduled fixtures with some form of undersoil heating which relative outlay is small compared to transfer fees/salaries to players ?
As I write this post Fulhams` game with Blackburn has only just been called off [1.30 PM]. Most of Rovers fans would have almost arrived in London for this fixture - how must they be feeling having shelled out hard earned money only to be told sorry the games off ?
