Morikawa joins Tiger, Roy & Nicklaus in their 1st major win at this Tournament at the age of 23.
Exciting times with the rising stars in US golf all performing well. Morikawa, Wolff, Champ, Scheffler & Schauffele should feature heavily oer the coming years.
Interesting quote from Mcllroy after finishing in 33rd spot & 11 shots behind the winner. " Maybe I'm not as good as I used to be" Rory's last major win come at this event in 2014.
This years US PGA Championship at Kiawah Island starts on Thursday.
It is a brutally long 7876 yard set up and accuracy off the tee looks like it will be very important.

Mighty impressive course I have to say is the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.
Proper test of golf.
All round play really tested.
Perfect for a major imo.
Koepka looking good early; McIlroy less so.
Corey Connors of Canada leads on -5.
Good round of 70 from Phil Mickelson.
Defending champion Collin Morikawa also shot a 70 to finish -2.
Sam Horsfield of England is at -3.
Scot Martin Laird is at -2.
Justin Rose and Tyrrell Hatton are both -1.
Joint leaders after round 2.
Phil Mickelson rolling back the years with a superb round of 69 and Louis Ousthuizen of South Africa with a brilliant 68.
Both at -5 overall.
Brooks Koepka lurks just 1 shot back.
Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama is 2 back on -3.
The main British challenge comes from Paul Casey at -2 with a host of others either level or just slightly over par.
