A search for the Nokia 6300 suggests it's supplied with JavaScript enabled. As ever with the Internet, there seems to be plenty of conflicting info though. I'm only using a phone myself at the moment so can't search this document for the word java, but here's the manual for your phone. The second page of the document details some Java trademark & t&c info though, implying that the phone is Java enabled.
It might be worth double checking whether JavaScript functionality is the issue. Editing one of your posts in 'quick edit' mode is a JavaScript function. When you click on the 'edit' button below your post above this one, does a pop up featuring options for 'quick edit and 'full edit' appear? Or when you click on the button are you simply taken through to a page where you can edit your post?

Was there a problem with the Javascript on this forum on the night of the 5th? As I seem to be coming across an awful lot of posts that have some weird multiple thanks within them. And most of them seem to be from posts made on the 5th of June.
I reported one, as I thought at the time, it was just a one off. But they are dotted all over the forum from that night.

I've also spotted another fault with the thanks system. I have noticed that if the last word or letter in your signature is emboldened, then all the subsequent thanks are emboldened as well. Surely the thanks system should be an independent entity, and not affected by your signature.
ADDITION:
You will now notice my above post is now illustrated by the below post. Which now explains what I was on about. And this post is now also illustrated in my thanks of the below post as well.
Rather nice coincidence that.

You can't accuse Quiq as not thanking the posts.
Is there any chance of 'The Watcher' running the thanks posts stats again?

I think Quiquems will be ahead on both thanks given and thanks received.

Can't stand him myself. Total idiot.
Arf.
He's been thanked over 91,000 times! It's about time the mods looked into a case of multiple accounts a la Staggerlee here.
